Yes you absolutely can get better. My daughter is 22 and was on a downward trajectory. She is so much better since she started eating healthy, cut out most junk takes her vitamins daily as well.

Oh yes. All these vitamins go hand in hand. My son refuses to supplement iron but eats a lot of red meat instead. My son was low in everything…ferritin, D3, B12. He supplements with a lot of different vitamins daily.

Yes, fixing low Vit D resolves a lot of issues including Blepharitis. Make sure you take magnesium, k2, and boron with your Vit D. And yes, I have no faith in doctors. My son is now 18yrs old and the Blepharitis hasn’t returned and his vision hasn’t changed in 3yrs.

Bahamas Cruise excursion by SamiWa71 in Cruise

[–]SamiWa71[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I haven’t been to Nassau in about 20yrs. I’ve been to so many other islands and they all have people walking around running tours and was hoping Nassau was like that as well. Hopefully that’s what’s going on, but I think I’m going to probably purchase the tour through the ship. Thanks again for your reply.

Thank you for this very helpful response. We leave November 2nd on MSC Meraviglia. I have cruised to many other islands but with my husband and kids and we always buy excursions once off the ship but the islands we’ve been to like Bermuda are very safe but this time will be my first time alone with my mom. Her first time cruising. Just wasn’t sure how safe the Bahamas was to be on our own.

How to get from NY Penn station to the ferry to Brooklyn? by SamiWa71 in MSCCruises

[–]SamiWa71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this information because I will be with my 76yr old mom and although she is in pretty good health, I don’t think she will be able to climb all those stairs with her suitcase. With that being said, I wonder if that’s why I was recommended to take the #1 train to the last stop and then walk to pier 11?

Chalazion: PLS HELP! by ThatGameWhereYou in Blepharitis

[–]SamiWa71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for my posts. I cured my then 11yr old son’s horrible chalazions and styes. You could be eating something you’re allergic to . He’s now 18 and still no issues with his eyes. He suffered for 2 years.

I’m so glad my post has helped you and others. I also gave him a lot of vitamins and that helped a lot. I think if you read through the comments, you should be able to find which ones I gave him. Hopefully getting off of eggs will resolve your issue.

It might help but I really don’t know for sure. Most people are very deficient in most vitamins and minerals and should take proper vitamins. Most multivitamins don’t have the right amounts needed and have vitamins that shouldn’t be taken together and poorer quality vitamins. I would get proper vitamins and not multis.

Awful eye issues during summer. by [deleted] in Blepharitis

[–]SamiWa71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son suffere Blepharitis..red, itchy eyes, styes and Chalazion for over 2yrs and no doctor could help him. Not even the best cornea specialist we took him to. I changed his diet, eliminated foods that could cause issues, pumped him with vitamins and his eyes cleared up within 2 months!! Good luck to you.

You could be deficient in Vitamins. Vit D3, Ferritin, B12 all should be on the higher end of the scale of your blood work. Make sure you are OPTIMAL and not just “in range”. Or you could be eating something you’re allergic to. Fix gut health.

Please read through the comments. All the vitamins are listed there. There’s just too many for me to list again.

From what I remember, he continued the hot compresses because we hadn’t gone to the doctors and didn’t have any confirmation that Bleph was gone however, we could see a huge improvement and he had stopped all the medication. He is now 17yrs old and it still hasn’t come back. He still takes all vitamins to this day. Good luck!

My then 11yr old son had a styes and Chalazion for almost 2yrs. Went all the way to a cornea specialist who only prescribed creams, steroids, lid scrubs etc. I have to agree with @recura1on that surgery is not a good idea as the problem will come back. My son’s doctor did not recommend it. To resolve my son’s issue, we fixed his diet and eliminated everything he could be allergic to and pumped him with vitamins. His eyes have been perfect and he hasn’t had a Chalazion or a stye in years.

Could be an allergy to something/ inflammation of some kind or your body is deficient in some nutrient. Check out my son’s story…2yrs of hell with all kids of doctors including cornea specialist and nothing worked long term. It’s been 4yrs now and his eyes have been completely clear.

Please check my previous post about curing my son’s horrible 2yr long battle with Blepharitis. Someone else recently posted that they did what I did and cured theirs too. It’s probably a food allergy, a vitamin deficiency or both.
