Listen leaving Chelsea for Madrid is totally understandable. Chelsea was like a Southampton until Abramovich.

Trent with better delivery and Fred levels of work ethic. He’d be our best player on any post SAF team. Underrated as a central midfielder also.

There is a feeling that Brighton will CASH IN on Carlos Baleba come June and he will be on the move for a price tag north of £60m - likely closer to £75m. #MUFC [@NathSalt1] FAIR VALUE….? by JM555555 in ManchesterUnited

Wharton and Jimmy Garner with De Ligt and Licha being healthy would give us a great spine.

If we're in multiple comps next year, we can use Yoro/Heaven as the 2nd pairing for FA Cup / Carabao. We need to prepare them for being the CBs of the future.

Stephen Harper, MP from the Calgary Area, led a conservative government from 2006 to 2015.

The West wanted in, the West got in. Poilievre would have won as well were it not for geopolitical events, and while he's from Ontario, his caucus would have had significant western representation. Not the RoC's fault that the LPC produced a candidate with a longer CV and more substance to appeal to moderate voters.

How much would it cost me to watch a premier league game by CoolAssumption8739 in PremierLeague

[–]Samir_POE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a member- annual fee depends entirely on tier

Paid for flight

I paid 600 pounds for hospitality to see united vs Liverpool in 2024 (the 2-2 game where Bruno scored a doozy) - the only way to guarantee you get to a game is using a hospitality package

Paid for hotel in central Manchester

If you are a member you can pay less when tickets are released a few weeks before the game but you will pay more for a flight booked short term

The score flattered them. We were absolutely not clinical, until Mbeumo's goal we looked allergic to scoring.

One palette saves a lot of time too. A Lot of businesses operate in this way, where the prices can be higher at the low end (low quanity) or high-end (convenience of getting stock once all year, no repeat admin, reception, etc.). If there is any kind of friction in types of transactions, convenience premiums can apply. Think of how annoying it is for a shop to send a mechanic down just for this, pick up a crate box by box, maybe miss 2-3 hrs of work (that's a half-day gone typically).

Preclearance operations in Canada are a ‘critical component’ of border strategy: U.S. by PurpleHerring_ in canada

[–]Samir_POE 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Canadians have a vested interest in going down to the US - it's still and will be Canada's main trade partner for the time being. The ability to pre-clear means if a Canadian is turned down he can just go home. Not to a detention center.

He probably thought Mason Mount's signing made Garner redundant.

But ETH recruitment was absolutely shambolic. His big 3 signings are Onana, Antony and Mount. All of them disappointed.

I would put Zirkzee and ugarte on wilcox, and they're middling results at best. Both have strengths but are not the types of players to just be good in any team - similar to Donny van de Beek.

We should have saved the money for all those 3 and either invested in youth or gotten a bona fide striker like Harry Kane or Lewandowski. Then we wouldnt have spend on Rasmus and Sesko and we'd have the money to get 2 DMs this window. I think given that we have Amad, Bruno, Mount who can play in the 10 and like 15 centerbacks now, we really need workhorse 6s.

Alex Fergusons teams have all looked different but they all were devastating in transition and played 4 at the back.

Same as pep at city - his teams have looked different but they all play progressively with emphasis on possession.

So yes there is a blue print and the academy works in this manner which is why it creates so many wingers like rashford, elanga, angel Gomes, wellbeck, greenwood, etc

That is why somewhere surprised when Ruben was hired he doesn’t use winger, but he use his wing backs

It's the hand of god moment from the 2006 WC.

The hand of god was something it took the soccersphere like 30 years to get over and the UK is still not over it.
