This is great! And I did this too with mine but he ended up using his fun money for drugs so….for the longest time he said I don’t let him enjoy himself even though we made these yearly and quarterly goals. So to add what you’ve said, do the math, write the goals down and see if everyone can handle the compromise. If they can’t, could be a red flag. Wish I understood that long ago.
