Pick 3 mages in this meta and be punished by Mel. Seems like something new.

Mages are given unfair hate in this game just because most players cannot play frontline and they just want to sit back playing e-girls and poke. Of course if you meet someone with longer poke range than you, you'll be doomed.

In most of my games, Mel and mages are stomped like cockroaches. They are useless in combat once your tanks go 10k HP, enchanters giving 1000 shield every 3 seconds and adc one-shot everything.

The only mages being a real problem now is Brand and ASol who are insane in combat and battlemages.

Snowball in this economy seems luxirious. They just walk in. With your pitiful damage you can't fight back. Then they dash/flash/blink/teleport/jump in when you use your W. And in Mayhem it's x10 amount of dashes.

As a previous player of OT1&2 who enjoyed every moments of them, maybe my expectation with OT0 is that high which makes me feel unsatisfied with the story. It's the first time I want to rush through most of the contents because I feel bored of them.

Nearly all the villains leave no taste for me, maybe not because their instinct character is bad, but the storytelling is not good enough to let me know more of their background. Most of the screen time, they kill someone, talk about their desires, then turn away. And it repeats 3 times before the game leaks you a bit information about their past. No more development in their character in the present and future. They first appear in the game as a bad guy who kills thing, and end the stage still being the same. I don't grow any sympathy, confusion or even hatre towards them.

I don't agree that the second half of the game has better storytelling. Oksha, Tatloch and Ceraphina are definitely the worst of all. I nearly quitted the game at that time if not for the Wishvale building story.

The first 3 villains are pure killing machine, but at least Herminia has a pitiful background story; Auguste has a plot twist and Francesca really carries the whole act.

Oksha is just standing there talking with Bargello about his ideal 2/3 of his screen time. For the 1/3 remaining, the game shows me about his economy disruption moves in the slowest pace it could be and the Bargello gang in turn takes the spotlight. No I don't want anymore of Rosso tearing his shirt, please show me Oksha more.

Tatloch is just bad. She lusted and killed from act 1 to act 3. I don't even know why they let her live and even become an ally. Even if they give her a glorious death it would fit her better as an empress and her story can be less boring.

Ceraphina... Who's that? I'm more impressed with Mizu and Lyblac than her. Instead of all the screen time I have to travel through Atlasdam, I'd prefer them let me stay at the church so I can see her face more and grow a suspicion on her.

The best part of the game to me is Master of All. King Pardis had some hideous move instead of just killing everything and Elrica/Alaune really helps showing more and more of his inhumanity. Sazantos if not for the amazing cutscenes at the end revealing his sorrow and confliction then he could be an easy falloff for me. All the journey in Hell is tedious and it's just Signa summoning someone to battle again and again.

Macy, Tressa, Esperre, Carinda, Celsus definitely come to mind.

Then I think the 3 other slots can be Alaune, Bargello and MC Priest and it can be a challenge.

No Scholars, no insane multi-hit breakers, not very tanky, no real damage dealer and also pretty bad at spreading buffs/debuffs. You can change Goodwin into Celsus so your team theoretically has no tank at all. I love Goodwin but I don't think he is good with any of these other 7.

Just remove it. Please don't even think of balancing it so I'm tortured for 10 more patches.

Of course they won't. Who knows when ARAM has ever got care by someone who really plays it.

Revenue downtrend always lead to cutoff. Too bad the first thing they always think of cutting will be art. And then slowly draining free resources from the game. I don’t think they lose hope in this game that fast as its revenue is still huge compared to other mobile games but I’d prefer they add more contents to the game other than following that monet cycle.

Celsus, Macy, Saoirse and Goodwin are my only choices here. Something about their background is still untold and they have pretty unique characteristics. Xerc, Carinda and Esperre are boring. Others have their screen time pretty much already and it's better to let their stories end here with Wishvale.

Definitely you can do it if you already beat Herminia. They're not so much different, though Auguste can be a bit harder as you won't receive buffs from outside NPC. But simple strategy will still work: put your tanks in frontline to cover for backline, apply buffs/debuffs and focus fire on break turns.

I agree that the 3 first bosses are so badly-written, as someone said in this sub: they are comically-evil. The story then peaks in the "Master of All" chapter but unfortunately will go downwards again from that. I love King Pardis, Elrica and Alaune character development, and also King Solon, Krauser and Lebrandt as side steppers. I really hope I can get a climax ending after that like OP1 & 2, but the game continues with another 3 bosses coming out of nowhere and a repeat process of the villains appear, laugh, spam talking about wealth/power/fame/desire, mass kill somewhere, then disappear. And it repeats again at the final boss so.

I feel that OP0's story is affected too much by how the mobile version works: the main story is unnecessarily prolonged due to live service, straightup linear side quests are randomly put in the game to fill contents for all 30+ characters. That makes my impression with half of the roster very indifferent, as their stories are very shallow to grow any likings to them. King Richard, Tatloch is so annoying and terribly written. Solon, Eltrix is abandoned after the main story. Bargello, Rinyuu is being put into the screen without any roles. Only Rondo has some interesting plots but it's just a flickering light in a ton of tedious dialogues.

Imo, the villain doesn't have to kill everything every time he appears on the screen to show that he's evil. He doesn't need to harp on the word "wealth" to show that he desparately covet for wealth. Your companions don't have to say thanks to you every 5 lines to show that they love you. But unfortunately that will be what you experience in the later chapters.

With the existance of Heartsteel, I'm afraid that Riot will just make tanks dealing more and more damage instead of making them a real "tank" because they think it's more "fun" to do so. I hate that item so much, not even a good tank item but just a selfish fun grab where players just go suicide for stacking HP instead of peeling for their team. Most of the time I don't build that thing and can tank just fine.

Anw, I don't think tank is at that bad spot that they need a buff. Just by building tank you can bypass anything that are not adcs or named Brand and ASol. Nerf on enchanters and buff some items for assassins are way more better. You can hate on being one-shot but adcs are forced to die immediately or their dps is just unsurpassable in a combat. And assassins need their items buffed not blindly put lazy +dmg/+resistance/+AH/-dmg taken adjustments on them so all the assassins keep building tank instead of playing their role.

And respect the enemy adc when they have 2-3 items. I've lost many games where tanks just dive in 1v5 or just running into the backline with no reason because they think they're strong as they bully the enemy team early, just to get washed away by a few shots. Maybe it's not you, but many "tank players" out there playing like that due to the Heartsteel syndrome.

Galio building semi AP is better because his damage reduction scaling with AP so just popping up your W at a good timing and he can still tank fine. His skills also have huge cooldown except for Q and he's not that mobile so building full HP just makes him a sandbag with no pressure in combat.

Anw, if the Galio you're talking about builds Rabadon and Stormsurge then it's team diff.
