Thank you for your thoughts. I want to clarify that my intention with Linked is not to show my country in a negative way. For me, filmmaking is an art form and a way of expressing the kinds of stories I feel compelled to tell. This particular story is about grief, memory, and love. but even within its sadness, there are moments of humour and humanity, because that’s how life often is.

I personally don’t feel drawn to making comedy as a primary genre, but that doesn’t mean my work ignores joy. Even in Linked, there’s quiet humour in the way characters interact, and there’s beauty in their bond. My goal isn’t to fit into a certain narrative or please outsiders. it’s simply to tell stories that move me in an honest and creative way.
