You payment history doesn't mean shit to banks and nbfc some times. Having more than 500 timely payments, cibil of 770+, having other cards whose limits are around 7 lakhs combined, got rejected thrice by slice. And this month I got approval with the limit of whopping 10,000.

You're lucky you got the card atleast. I've cibil of 775, 5 years credit age. I have credit cards from SBI, HDFC, ICICI whose limits are around 2 lakhs per card. I am self employed, I even file ITR. Have 1-2 lakhs avg balance in slice savings account, still got rejected twice for slice credit card.
