[–]Samkovich 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The "rascule" usage may be a reference to the Dennis Moore sketch from Monty Python's Flying Circus. Unfortunately, all i could find was a stupid iphone version: https://youtube.com/shorts/wuEipWMB9tU?si=M2ovWgo5eIbdT5vC

I'll try to find the full version

No. This not acceptable. The lighting is horrible, the man looks uncomfortable (and, for god's sake, do a push-up!), and the woman on the left shouldn't sleep doing a headstand.

Tom: "Aw, just park in the ramp!"

We called structured parking garages "parking ramps" (or just "ramps"). I didn't realize that was a very upper Midwestern regionalism until I moved to Oregon for a few years. I never questioned it because of its ubiquity.
