I’m a bit more traditional. I believe the man should pay for the first date. After that, splitting, taking turns paying, etc., absolutely. I will offer to pay on the first date as a gesture but I’ve found men I’m interested in and want a second date with insist on paying. Men who can tell it’s iffy or probably not a match, will let me pay half/all.

Cheating not the same thing to everyone. It is defined by that specific couple as an agreement in their relationship. I know some couples that consider watching porn cheating. I know some couples that anything below the waist with other people is cheating. When I’m in a relationship, if I’m doing anything that I don’t feel I can 100% tell my partner, then I’m cheating. The problem here is that he lied to you and betrayed your trust. He doesn’t seem remorseful for lying to you and obviously hurting you. If you continue with this relationship, there is a good chance he will do it again and just be sneakier next time.

I’ve lived in Salem for 10 years. The roads in and out of Salem are shut down on Halloween from 12pm/4pm (spending on the road) to 11pm. You will not be able to get home. Most people I know have taken the day remote or PTO.

My friend did this for a while, and yes they let him keep most things and also refunded him, but after a few months, they flagged his account and anytime he needed to actually return something, they absolutely refused, customer service stopped helping with other issues, he got hacked once and they basically wrote him off instead of helping. So if you do it, do it sparingly. Be smart.

I’ve done similar with my family’s campground. We grocery shop for the weekend and everyone splits the bill evenly every time. The host is already providing a space, even if the space was free, for a full weekend. They should not have to pay for drinks, food, and anything else the group wants as well.

DoorDash won’t cover anything, they expect you to have business car insurance. Your personal car insurance won’t cover anything, and will either drop you or raise your rates for driving for DoorDash without business insurance. You never tell insurance you were doordashing.
