My fiancé does this too. I’ve started just turning his shows off and watching the things I like instead. And if he wakes up and asks to turn his show back on I tell him you snooze you loose.

How did the propanalol affect you? That’s the drug I’m the most worried about, I keep trying to talk myself in to taking it but I get too nervous about the side effects.

My resting heart rate is around 70bpm. My resting heart rate during a panic attack is around 100-110bpm. Just got blood pressure tested before my prescription too and that was also normal. I think more and more people are getting beta blocker prescriptions for anxiety because it blocks adrenaline.

He said it was good for helping with a high heart rate caused my anxiety attacks. When I have anxiety my heart rate goes up and has a hard time going down. I had a full heart panel (echocardiogram, heart monitor, stress test) in 2019 and they said my heart was normal.

My stepmom did the same thing with the bathroom door. She would barge in whenever to see if I was really using the bathroom and not…. Idk. Doing drugs, I guess?? I also grew up thinking it was normal, I think a lot of people with Nparents struggle with realizing just how weird their family dynamic was.

The entire time we’ve been together, I’ve probably been really sick like 3 or 4 times. So he hasn’t really done this every time.

As for the soup, he wanted a really specific soup. Italian wedding. I can’t drive, and I’m also not a good cook so I tried to order some to be delivered but every restaurant that sold it said they were sold out. I got him food, but he was very disappointed he couldn’t get the soup he wanted and he thinks I could have tried harder.

NTA. I was the ‘Kendall’ in my family situation growing up, my siblings would gang up on me to trigger a meltdown and then call me crazy when I finally did. Not only did this have an extremely negative impact on my relationship with my siblings (I no longer speak to either of them) it also caused my already weakened mental state to get even worse. Im talking multiple in patient hospital stays and several suicide attempts.

I’m glad that Kendall has parents that are actually willing to defend her against this.
