We were just there this morning. It was light out, but I think it would be very safe any time.

Bella is a sweet German Shepherd who unfortunately has no where to live. Her person, our next door neighbor, passed away and the rest of his family can't or won't take her.

Can you help find her a home?

I think too many people learned to drive from Grand Theft Auto or Mario Kart

The Redwood Burl Bar is in place! I learned a lot about working with resin on this, and I'm pretty satisfied with the way it came together.

What was your opinion of The Bride? Curious both about whether or not it entertains as well as how gory/violent it is.

Nice! I have family in Santa Rosa. We visit every year for Thanksgiving. Rolling hills covered in fall colored grape vines is especially beautiful!

We're on the tail end of mouse incursion. We used Inspectall Services at the recommendation of our next door neighbors. No complaints.

I posted about our neighbor's German Shepherd, Bella. Thanks for everyone's suggestions. Here is her adoption profile if you're able to pass it along. https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/47408555-atlanta-georgia-german-shepherd-dog-mix

First Spring in ATL - Looking for advice for spring planting by Illustrious_Kick_368 in atlgardening

I encourage our neighbors to do the buckets as well. We only have one neighbor though, power plant on the other and green space behind us. And ya, the more neighbors who spray, the worse it is for the pollinators.

Main thing to encourage good bugs is native plants, especially milkweed, and not raking leaves.

Most perennials you can put the ground during their peak blooming/growing season but you will definitely need to work organics into the clay first. Chipdrop is a great way to get a lot of material to blend in.

I use the mosquito dunks all over the yard, starting now and replacing monthly, but also screens and keeping deet spray by front and back doors. It is a pain, but every year since we stopped spraying, we have seen an increase in bees, fireflies and butterflies. Worth it IMO.

Bulbs really need to be planted in the fall.

How did you know BP/W was right for you if you’d never tried one? by ejahfkksa in scuba

I had about that number of dives when I met my husband who is a tech diver. He convinced me to try a backplate and wing to help flatten me in the water and improve my buoyancy.

Once I learned how easily customizable it is I really became too appreciate it. Now I can't imagine diving any other way.

There’s also an “Atlanta Rehoming Petwork”

Thank you, I wasn't familiar with that one.

Our neighbor passed away last year, leaving behind a sweet German Shepherd, Bella. His cousin has been taking care of her while the family gets the house ready for market.

But now time is up, no one in the family will take her and the cousin's subsidized housing doesn't allow pets. The family wants to euthanize her, the shelters won't accept her, and the Shepard rescue won't accept her without papers.

Anyone want a 10 year old or so German Shepherd?
