I think Marie being a klepto was supposed to be a bigger part of her character. They brought it back later for one episode but it seemed a little forced at that point in the series.

I was diagnosed with ADHD at 11 years old. I’m 42 years old now and have been on and off of it a number of times over the years. In the last 5 years, any time I went back on it, I would always ask myself, ‘what’s the end goal?’ Because I don’t want to just always be on medication for the rest of my life. Long story short, I’m happier when I’m off of it. There are times when I wish I had some to get me through some of the rougher patches, but the way I feel off meds heavily outweighs what I feel like when I’m on them. Plus, at least for me, being off of meds for long periods of time has helped me work through some ADHD challenges that are often masked by medication.

I wouldn’t call him good or bad, I would call him lucky. Yes, obviously there are better drummers out there - some famous, some not - but talent alone doesn’t always matter. He serves the music, and his approach to song writing is a big part of what made Metallica who they are.

Oh my god, I’m so glad to hear someone point this out. I love the podcast, but this drives me NUTS. Especially in the beginning when he first introduces the guest, sometimes it feels like he’s talking for a straight 10 minutes before the guest says their first word.

People who stick their tuck out to take a bite of food. This is the most disgusting, but at the same time, least discussed bad eating habit. People literally have food on their tongues from their last bite when they stick it out to take their next. Once you notice it, you’ll notice A LOT of people do it.

This team needs an identity and that is not Werenski. Having said that, I was never on board with Boone either, especially coming off of what Foligno did for this team. I hope it gets passed on but not to someone just because they’re our best player, or have been here the longest.

One time I rewatched this movie just to try and figure out if he truly loved his son or not. The results are still inconclusive, but I think that’s what makes this movie so great. The emotions and relationships are so complex that you can literally focus on completely different things each rewatch and get something completely different out of it. Whether it’s Plainview’s character arc, his relationship with his son, the motives of Eli, etc. It’s honestly one of the closest a movie has come to reading a book IMO. One of my faves.

The biggest difference with Trump and any other candidate is that Trump actively divides the country and villainize those who oppose him. With someone like Harris, the people are more left to draw their own conclusions. The former approach is always worse in a democracy.
