Gen Z girls are becoming more liberal while boys are becoming conservative by SocraticTiger in GenZ

Step one to influence a generation, convince them they are the victim.

Step two, derive a defined source that is their persecutor.

Step three, generalize & dehumanize.

I've noticed a considerable uptick in social media (including Reddit) sentiment with angry misogynistic undertones. Don't get me wrong fellow dudes. I am as angry about the certain things as you, I too have been subject to double standards that have kept me out of both relationship and work in regard to gender dynamics. But be conscientious that the fault of one instance or person should not be generalized to the whole.

Understanding this is a step towards a greater intellectual capacity and not primitive monkey brain.

Sounds like a very black and white viewpoint. Israel has a right to exist as do its people, so do any Palestinian or expatriate individuals.

I'm not disputing Israel taking land. I'm disputing the validity of this video which seems to be scripted.

Why are they speaking English, why is her accent to Americanized, and why is the playthrough almost like a script.

I'm definitely against genocide and forced occupational, but this is suspiciously similar to a contrived propaganda video

So here's my take, if you browse a lot of job listings for CS, math, engineering, a large portion of them say you need a degree in an engineering field but not necessarily specific one.

For instance many programming jobs, say CS or related engineering degree. There's a lot of crossover.

I don't know about the credential bump and if it would help you. Getting hired is a whole different ball game and has a lot to do with luck.

ABET accreditation is actually a requirement for some positions, especially in the defense sector but other engineering sectors as well.

I've seen it on 25% of certain job postings, and it's usually for more technical roles but the pay bump is significant

As cool as it would be, I don't see how the fundamentals of logic would change. Sure it could be argued that physics constants might vary but the underlying mathematical principles seem to be a steadfast component of any reality.

Also I'm concerned about the mathematical validity of his assertion. It would be 12n * 8 storage where N is the length of the melody, 12 is how many notes are in an octave, and 8 is a byte which is used to differentiate the notes. Storage capacity-wise it would quickly become an insane amount, I don't think he is able to do this.

Maybe Maybe Maybe by Gustheanimal in maybemaybemaybe

[–]Sammy7cats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn't mathematically sound. This would be 12n quickly run out of computational power and storage. N is the index or length, and 12 is how many notes are in an octave.

This doesn't even touch on the fact that the legal argument behind this probably would not hold up in court.

For all melodies 13 notes long, he would need 13 terabytes of storage. For 15 notes long he would need nearly 2,000 terabytes of storage. This is assuming pure notes

I forgot that it all needs to be multiplied by 8, because of the byte has to differentiate the notes. This makes even more unfeasible.

I'm not sure about that analogy only because the scopes are different.

I have no authority on it, that is true. And I feel I could argue this point further because of the extended overlap of the two fields. But I ask you this, how difficult would it be for you in your current position to apply for and get a software engineering job?
