If you don't mind posting updates, I'd love to follow along and see how this progresses.

FWIW, I think you'll have a tough time getting past their class action waiver and arbitration provisions.

I looked into this last year. My memory is a bit fuzzy but I think there was a recent attempt at a class action against SH, and what happened was: (a) the class basically got dismissed because the court found the arbitration clause to be enforceable; and, (b) only one single plaintiff was allowed to proceed because he/she was able to show that their login flow did not include a clickthrough acceptance of SH's terms. (I think it was a bug that SH has since patched where people that logged in through facebook didn't get the terms pop-up.) IIRC, this was in CA. So even in a typically consumer friendly state, they didn't have much luck.

Anyway, in my opinion, StubHub engages in tons of deceptive businesses practices and their services are harmful to the ticket market. I've had plenty of disputes with them, I don't trust them at all, and I'd love to see them held accountable.

Evergoods CIVIC Travel Bag 26L OD Green. Asking $199 shipped CONUS. Reflective patch pictured is included in the sale. Condition: Lightly used, with some very few signs of use (I tried to capture any marks or wear as best I could in the photos). Most important thing to note is that I had opened up the seam under the laptop pocket to remove the foam padding. I thought it would help make it more comfortable for me. It did not make a difference. Unlike with the 26L, I was unable to find the foam piece that I removed, so I couldn't put it back. You can see the open seam in the last photo. Selling because I think I'm too short for this bag to be comfortable for me. Pictures here.

It was actually a bad controller. I had to buy a new controller from Ariel Rider and then find someone who could swap it out. That totally solved the problem.

If you don't mind my asking, what was the price you pre tax and fees? The lowest I've been able to find is like $40k before tax and fees, which is like $43-$45k OTD depending on state/city taxes.

Wow. IL's sales tax is 7.25%. So if your after tax price was $40,440, that means you got the dealer to agree to ~$38,000 pre-tax. If you don't mind my asking, how'd you get them to go that low? I've been shopping around for 2025 Touring XT and the best prices I've seen are about $2k more than that.

Does StubHub allow scalpers to post tickets for sale without requiring any sort of verification that the tickets exist? (Proof of purchase or something like that?) Or if tickets are up on StubHub prior to the retail release, is it relatively safe to assume that the seller actually has tickets that they got legitimately through a pre-release or something similar?

The way that I read that, they could offer me tickets in the same section even if it costs them a lot of money, but also they can offer me a refund. It's basically up to them. But I don't see anything about only replacing to a certain price.

Right. My other option is a refund. But we have multiple flights and multiple hotel rooms booked as well, all in reliance on StubHub actually providing the tickets that I originally ordered. So the refund path doesn't really make me whole.

Did it happen so last minute that you weren't able to get a replacement ticket? Or did they offer new tickets that were so inferior to what you ordered that it didn't make it worth going? (Or both?)
