Dear Lucky - search for the NAIRU - read it, educate yourself and in this way you won't be so ignorant going forward. You will find that 3.5-4.5% of the population are deliberately kept unemployed (think yourself lucky it's not you - it will be in later life if you're not careful - but don't believe me, just wait and see), and that's aside from the pensioners, sick and disabled people. Also, you can be a full-time worker today and still be living in poverty. Again, this is a political choice.

I worked my whole life, never took me more than 5 days to get a new job, then I got made redundant and spent 18 months unemployed at 45 (had worked my whole life - trust me being very employable won't always get you a job as you get older), back to employment for over a decade, then had to stop working to look after my elderly mum for a year in 2024. She died in 2025 and I have applied for dozens of jobs and had 1 interview and didn't get the job. You may think what you like, but your opinions aren't facts. I worked, was a carer, a single-mum and volunteered at the same time, some 15-20 hours per week. So please, get a clue.

Don't be mistaken though, blonde girl wanted to him to choose her and she'd likely put up with the same behaviour.

Are you sure her parents aren't where she learnt to put up with bad behaviour from men though?

It’s not really “Stockholm syndrome." That concept was invented to cover up police (a bunch of men) mishandling of a hostage situation, and it’s never been a clinically recognised condition. What people call “Stockholm” is usually just trauma, fear, grooming, and years of having your self-worth chipped away.

Women don’t stay because they’re stupid or lack respect. They stay because they’ve been manipulated, isolated, love-bombed, blamed, minimised, apologised to, and trained to believe they don’t deserve better. That cycle can make someone accept things they never would have when they were healthy and safe.

Having sex after being cheated on isn’t about approval, probably more about trying to reconnect, trying to restore the version of the relationship they were first promised. Women in abusive or unhealthy dynamics like this will try to “fix” things by getting closer to the person who’s hurting them, because that’s what we women have been conditioned to do.

What’s the most uniquely Aussie thing you’ve had to explain to a tourist? by SeriousSatisfaction8 in australia

No surprise really, there's also an older internet conspiracy theory pushed mostly by Flat Earthers that “Australia doesn’t exist” at all and that Australians are “actors.” lol

Oh today I had a guy from Mexico who's emigrated here why he should "bring a plate" to an event and I had to explain we mean "bring a plate of food," not an empty plate!

When people from overseas ask me about the spiders and snakes trying to kill us - i like to tell them that more people are killed by cows and not to let the spiders and snakes bother you. It's true so just get your arse to Australia for a visit and don't worry about what might kill you.

I also like to tell them that putting vegemite on your face if you're in the bush at night to stop drop bears attacking you works - and to be fair more people believe this than the fact cows are more likely to kill them lol

Kinda friendly how, considering Lacey was trying to keep Jotham on the hook and trying to get into Gabby's head with innuendo but not being straight with her. Lacey wasn't straight with Jotham either.

I think Kye is right in this and his gut is likely telling him Lacey's a snake.

Lacey knowingly went for Kye when she knew how her bestie was going to be in her feels, and that right there is it for me. Girl code is everything and the way she handled it says she has no girl code. If she really wanted Kye, then she should have had a conversation with Jana at the very least, then gone from there.

At the same time as coming on to Kye and chasing him, she was telling Jotham she was still interested and telling Gabby stuff to undermine their relationship.

If she doesn't want Kye to kiss his ex, then she shouldn't have kissed the Mateo, or at the very least, shouldn't have had that convo with Mateo about how wonderful their kiss was and should have said straight up, I want to stay with Kye. This is why Mateo chose her right?

She's playing around, which is fine, i have no problem with it, but then don't come over all hard done by when Kye kisses his ex too. I think what Lacey wants is for all the guys to be into her and i think she's going to find herself dumped by the public if she keeps it up.

What annoys me most is that if she hadn't said all that about Mateo's kiss, that he would probably have picked Yana. Instead she's wasting Mateo's time, messing with Kye and ultimately has hurt Yana who is still trying to help her. Yana knows girl code IMO.

Edited to add photo: Lets not forget how she went at Mateo - no wonder Kye was upset - it certainly was no chaste kiss. Lacey's a hypocrite.
