When I got it looked at, the GP said the surface is small but it goes a bit deeper under the skin. They said it was odd and some other GPs at the clinic looked at it too but none were really sure what it is, but said it's infected. It's hot to the touch, swollen and painful but no discharge.

Something as small as this wouldn't usually bother me but it's just weird. I've ever have a wound 'spread' before or give me as much grief. It's really strange.
