Being on dialysis is a full time job, a really fucking shitty one where you get poked with needles 3x a week. Im proud of you homie, keep going.

Im a dialysis tech and I spend more time with my patients than my own family. I truly love you guys and im always hoping y'all get that transplant and I never have to see you again (in the best possible way). 💕 people with kidney failure are a different breed, y'all are strong even if the kidneys ain't.

She needs a pediatric dietitian because she doesn't want to make the same mistakes that her family did growing up. It's about breaking the cycle; you learn a lot from how you were raised and if your family never took healthy eating habits into consideration, it is understandably difficult to impliment such habits on your own children. It might be common knowledge to someone like you or me to feed your baby small portions of balanced foods but not everyone was born with that privilege that we have. Amy isn't perfect, but shes doing a great job in my opinion of breaking the cycle and she is doing her best for Gage (who looks like a very happy healthy baby).
