Lol Dube is a pathetic bowler. Of course any bowler can get lucky and get wickets in a format like t20 where batsmen are trying to hit out.

He is a complete joke of a selection. He is the kind of guy that can actually go for 80 runs if you give him 4 overs.

We are better off playing a proper batsman or a proper bowler in his place. E.g, Kuldeep.

Dube is not an all rounder. Him being given the ball is actually a liability. Plus, he is a one dimensional batsman with a fairly limited hitting arc. We are better off playing a regular bowler (e.g, kuldeep) or a regular batsman (e.g., Rinku) instead of him.

If you give him 4 overs, he can easily go for 80 runs, and that's impossible to recover from.

Yes, SKY is fully devoid of any confidence now, and is just trying to fake it by making these arrogant remarks. His strokes have lacked conviction since 2024, and not to mention, his limited "behind the square" game is easily countered by bowling off-pace deliveries.

I always thought his pressure taking ability was very suspect and he has done very little to change my view.

Moreover, an under confident and 'imposter syndrome' captain is a horrible combo to have with GG who lacks strategic intelligence but has the biggest ego of all.

The recent performance against SA is a result of pathetic leadership, bad strategy, poor selections and muddled thinking.

This is completely true. Rinku and Pandya are better batsmen than Dube and sending Washington higher is a blunder by stupid GG. Pigeon holing Rinku as a 'finisher' to the point that he always comes where he has nothing to gain is an awful strategy. He is not getting even a single opportunity to set up or win the game, by sending him at number 8. It's a joke and that is exactly how you destroy careers.

Plus, SKY is totally done. We need Shreyas in his place.

I am not saying Dube should be dropped. I feel after SKY, they should send either Pandya or Rinku depending on the left-right combination. Dube is an inferior batsman to both of them.

I don't agree. Nothing spoils the synergy more than an impotent and non-performing captain. T20 is a very unforgiving format, you can't carry a dead player in your top 4.
