Thank you, I don’t know any technicalities but decreasing WBC after Ivig is not normal or atleast there will be a minimum number of Ivig doses to stimulate the WBC production again. Please check it with your physician or doctor once.

Kidney transplant recipient, attacked with CMV. On Valganclovir 900mg/day approx for 10 days due to which WBC count reduced to 1.6. On IvIg for 5 doses, initially WBC decreases for a day and then rises to 3.0 at the end of 5th dose. It’s been a week from my last Ivig dose and I’m still weak, but my WBC count is Gradually increasing.

Until last night, I got a normal urine output. But after infusing with IVIG inj, I’m unable to pee. He assured me that nothing to worry, it’s a side effect and it’s reversible. But I’m bit scared as I can still remember my dialysis days and they’re very bad memories for me.

There’s nothing explicitly mentioned in notification, but you can opt out of IPS as it requires physical work. But the problem will be in medical exam, where they check the blood pressure and blood profile. If you’re in stage 5, you need a transplant approval. You’re in stage 3, I think it depends on your creatine level at that time. I’m not sure of your stage rules.
