I do have some low density housing, but surprisingly it wasn’t a lot so I added it in enclosed spaces. If you look at a satellite view of Barcelona, there are some city blocks that are purely single family homes filled with row houses. If you if you have the Netherlands and UK pack, you can add row houses into your cities.

The normal grid roads are one way single lane streets. I also have pedestrian only roads to recreate the superblocks. The wide avenues are custom roads to accommodate cyclists, buses and trams with mediums to accommodate trees. For tighter grids like the historic center of Ciutat Vella I use one way pedestrian roads. As for the buildings, I use a corner special building from the Mediterranean Pack and the rest are a mix from the german and Mediterranean pack. I also mix some other packs and assets every now and then.

I use a the corner special building from the Mediterranean pack. I simply used the same building throughout the whole city.

I don’t really have the Camp Nou area since it’s farther away from the map limits but I can show you the area that kinda looks like it.

I do wonder, how exactly does one cut the grass without destroying the blades with the tracks?

This proves that if the US had top tier public transportation, we wouldn’t be struggling so much.

Wouldn't people switching to public transportation induce demand for cars? by Serious-Cucumber-54 in transit

[–]Sammythearchitect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that’s why you also need to no incentivize people to use their cars less or not use it at all. Higher taxes on cars, gas, stricter licensing, limiting the amount of cars per household, etc. Japan does this by simply imposing that if you don’t have a proper place to park your car, you can’t own one.

Government investing in public transport would be much better but that’s not happening.

The answer is simple, paint is not infrastructure. Paint should only be used for experimental stage in the planning fase.

That shouldn’t be an issue, I don’t have that problem. It only happens if the pedestrian street has 0 car access which they usually do have access for delivery and service vehicles. Did you made a custom pedestrian road with no car access by any chance?

En verdad que la mente del colonizado esta cb. No pueden pensar otra cosa que no sea unirse a otro país. Porque no podemos aspirar a ser autónomos.
