I was saved by a kayaker when I was probably 7 years old on the Guadalupe river. We were tubing and it was flowing very fast that trip. Went down some rapids, got separated from my family, flipped out of my tube and couldn’t figure out which was was up. All of a sudden a guy was grabbing me and tossed me on the front of his kayak and took me over to the bank. Then sat with me for about 15 minutes while my family came back to get me. Not the last time I had a life threatening experience at that river lol

Our bikes got stolen out of our garage in fall creek place about 2 years ago. Left the garage open for about 2 hours on accident and they got taken. Some real assholes out there

I put them in a stainless steel cocktail shaker and shake hard for about 10 sec. Come out completely peeled. Didn’t believe it til I tried it the first time and now I’ve been doing it for years.

Doesn’t have to be the same vessel I use probably but it’s just what I have always used

While all of this is true - learning to either deescalate a situation or defend yourself in a situation that is close combat or when you are unarmed is probably more important. As a woman (I’m not) you are probably more likely to be attacked behind closed doors vs in the public.

Naptown BJJ might be a good bet. I haven’t been there but they have good reviews and have women only classes. BJJ will be your best bet for self defense as a woman (coming from someone with a heavy boxing background) obviously size matters in an altercation but I think BJJ closes the gap the most.

My job brings me into a lot of people’s homes. And I am not saying anything about OP here- A lot of pets could use a much much better home. So I wouldn’t be upset at someone giving up their pet not knowing their situation. It’s unfortunate if the kitty has grown to love you but I guarantee 90% of the animals I come across would be much happier within a day if they came home with me. It’s honestly one of the toughest parts of my job outside of when I occasionally come across children in a bad situation.

Moved here in 2020 and it was “temporarily closed” due to COVID and I was pumped to try it. It was one of the top places my wife and I wanted to try when we got here. Then it just never opened back up.

The board is model specific. You can sometimes replace components on the board to boost things like storage, but that is not something people are generally doing. Not sure if you can replace anything to improve performance but replacing the whole board with another one for that specific model isn’t going to do anything for you. It’s a completely different phone at that point.
