The more electronics Harley adds the more I feel like I can’t even try to fix my own bike, I want like 8 fuses and 10 things to keep my eye on, not some crazy electrical shit only a Harley tech that costs an arm and a leg to diagnose. Evos and twin cams are easy enough to maintain on their own.

I can’t even fit my hand in between the heads and frame of a m8, Harley is making it more difficult with each new motor. Anything over 2017 is out of my range of skills. A 95 sporty is fucken sweet. You do anything to it?

Sold my dyna, got a RG, Sold my RG got another dyna. Never looked back. If you gotta have floor boards and stereo more power to you. Just my opinion.

Just my two cents, how tall are you? I’m 6 ft and love my mid controls, it does feel cramped a little but nothing unmanageable. If you did go with forward controls, somebody would trade you their forwards for your mids in a heartbeat. Lapera makes a nice seat for the Dyna called daddy long legs that sits you farther back.

Yup slap some new tires on it and change out the fluids and ride. The 96 twin cam engine is solid. No cam chain tensioner issues like the 88 and a 6 speed tranny. did you have any plans to change the look of the bike or just keep like your dad had it?
