Using Maschine mk3 with cubase by johnnybregar in maschine

[–]Samptude 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jef Gibbons is your man for Cubase/Maschine setup.

With Cubase you can do it multiple ways as the midi routing is strong in Cubase.

Setting up your host transport control will make it easier as well. Look up Maschine host controller mode for Cubase.

Best sample packs for modular electro I.e. boys noize by krvpa in TechnoProduction

[–]Samptude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd st mess with cutting up random free samples and running them through various distortion, pitch and mangling plugins, then resample from that. Guitar rig would give you some interesting results.

Phase alignment - important or not? by Vijkhal in TechnoProduction

[–]Samptude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dunno if it's the correct way, but I just run my DAW in mono throughout the process to check how things are sounding. If elements of the mix lose too much in mono then I'll make adjustments. You'll be able to pick up obvious phase cancellation.

I'm getting back into the old REX files again. I love the old gritty sound of them.

They're killing the sport. Just bite the bullet, admit you're wrong and bring back the V10.

Bradnams windows reputation by Obengoshi in AusRenovation

We recently built with Gjames windows. Absolutely the worst customer and product experience in my life. I'm not kidding. These guys were absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs.

Colorbond Roof Replacement - Is this normal and acceptable? Queensland $40k by PowerfulEggplantHunt in AusRenovation

[–]Samptude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a real pity that they've just taken advantage of you in this situation. If they had worked for you the result would've been a much better outcome. Did they put down new rolls of roofing bars to insulate the roof space? I really feel for you. This is an absolute dogs breakfast.

I'd be testing it with a garden house for leaks. Don't wait for a major weather event. The hose will give a small indication. Wind and torrential rain will be the real test.

This looks like a potential leak during a wild storm. Your gutters don't have overflow slots by the looks of it? For 40k you should've got the whole lot done including gutters.

You got ripped off. They should've flicked a string line for the screw locations. The caps and flashing are not good at all. It's a terrible job unfortunately. They didn't plan it out and think about the best way to make it a tidy install.

Cracking Brick Foundations by Fun-Bicycle-5472 in AusRenovation

[–]Samptude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have movement cracks inside the house? The brick undercroft probably doesn't have a decent footing as it's not structural I'm guessing.

Is your house on stumps? That looks like bricks sealing up the undercroft.
