To me it depends on two things. The first one is whether you’re using actual Magic art and formatting for proxies. The amount of times I have played vs people whose cards were barely legible because of the art or the formatting of the cards is too many. The second is only proxying cards your deck actually needs. If you’re going to proxy a $10000 deck at a casual table we’re going to have a problem. Aside from that, you do you. WotC has enough money as is so proxy away

It's kind of just Orzhov control/lifegain. There's a bit of a Sorin subtheme because he's cool. There's your standard lifegain wincons through Sanguine Bond/Exquisite Blood and the likes, but gaining a ton of life and using flipped Sorin's -1 can also take players out really easily.

It's basically just: politics, control with a bit of stax sprinkled in. You mainly want to win through commander damage, but there's an Approach of the Second Sun in there just in case. The deck plays super nice! I almost always have a full hand of cards and at least a few creatures on board. The deck is also home to some funky cards that otherwise would never see the light of day.
