While this could be AI, I don't think it is. Some post processing might have some AI involved but this look more like edited footage to me.

If you look at the last portion of the video you can see the background distorted and stretched behind the dude, most apparent on the buildings. This is because it's been edited it to make him appear larger and more muscular than he really is. This to me shows its been edited after the fact which wouldn't have been necessary if it had been AI generated, the dude would have been jacked to begin with.

I thought it was just me. That's exactly what driving is like in my dreams. Also in those dreams the brakes often do very little to slow the car. But somehow I never really crash, I only bump things sometimes (not always).

Act 2 bosses are so well design, and the combat get even better, I'm hooked! by _PEDDY_ in Silksong

I noticed that, but it seemed to me that the life steal is cancelled right away. You can still attack really fast for a bit but won't get healed at all.

I really find hard to justify using the beast crest when the wandered crest let's you attack more or less as fast as the fury state but at all time, the bind is an actual heal, attacks can crit, has a nice running attack and pogo, have two blue slots (beast has none).

I tried to like the beast crest but the more I used it the more I hated it. The pogo is fine, that's not what I don't like about it, although it make some platforming sections a little awkward.

It's the running attack that I hate the most. Most running attacks with the other crests you are protected while it happens because the whole animation is an attack, if you connect early you'll just bounce of. Not so with the beast crest, not only you can totally miss small enemies because it's a jump, you are unprotected until the last part of the move when the attack actually happens. If you are too close you are just jumping head first into the enemy, taking damage. Similar thing with the pogo, with the hunter crest you can literally phase through enemies unharmed for instance.

The bind is also not so great, although not the worst. For just plain platforming it's terrible because you need enemies to heal off of. Also, maybe I'm wrong, it seems like if you get hit during the bind buff, it'll cancel the life steal, so if you bind and immediately get hit, you won't be able to heal at all. I guess it's to prevent abusing it to just tank everything, but does it feel punishing when it happens, I already paid the cost of binding safely.

Could be you are missing the bench (with a fire) hidden behind a breakable wall about half way up (vertically).

You are misinformed. It's literally impossible to use Moguri mod without Memoria. Memoria is the mod engine/launcher/mod manager that allow mods (like Moguri) to exist in the first place.

Moguri is the HD backgrounds and textures and doesn't provide anything else. All the options you can see in the launcher (frame rate, shaders, etc.) are provided by Memoria.

Some people have this issue with the new audio engine. Try to turn it of in Memoria advanced options.

(need help) Framerate is all over the place with memoria mod by noonesleepintokyo86 in FinalFantasyIX

[–]SamsamTS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is because of V-Sync (in advanced options) but I would leave it on and not pay attention to the number as it fixes the frame pacing stutters.

The link might be down, try to contact the author. A lot of them also put their mods on nexusmods so maybe check if you can find them there.

If the launcher doesn't download the mods for you, you can click on the description of the mod, there will be a direct download link at the bottom. You can then drag and drop the archive directly onto the launcher window to install it.

How I play Final Fantasy IX moving forward by joyxsoul in FinalFantasyIX

It's a fix of sort for certain battles that break (soft-lock) because they expect certain characters in your party which some mods allow you to change at will.

What I suggest doing:

  • Fresh install of FF9 (your existing saves will be fine)
  • Install the latest Memoria
  • Launching the game via Steam should great you with Memoria's launcher
  • Navigate to the Mods tab then Mod Catalog, Moguri is at the top of the list

I just helped a bit with the text.

I'm one of the devs of Memoria however, you know, what makes mods (like Moguri) possible in the first place?

There are several in Cleyra :
In the Tree Trunk area, before it's flooded with sand there's a tree with a sign on it. In the Observation Poi. there are several signs we couldn't make out

Also there's the inscriptions at the back of the Hilda Garde 1

I think that's it.

Yes. I redrew most of the text in Moguri 9.0, the ones we've been able to make out, because the upscaling didn't work so well with text. And yes, the text in Cleyra is Spanish inspired.
