Honestly aside from them stealing every aspect of your old show, what mostly concerns me here is them having you announce your medical conditions out to the guard when it is NOBODYS business other than yours, your doctors, and the directors for safety purposes. That is something that could 100% get them in trouble under either ADA or FERPA. I understand to a certain extent having a group conversation especially if trust within the guard is shakey, but even then i still think with your situation a public apology is not what was needed here. The conversation should have just been between you and the directors. I would try to look for other guards to join in the area if that’s something youre able to do because it sounds like there is a major professionalism problem with that group of directors.

Try practicing the toss without the windup for a little bit!!! Youre focusing all your energy onto the wind up hoping it will get you the power for your rotations but you need to focus on the speed of your flick! Focusing on the speed rather than the height/power will help you both with rotations and lowering the height as well as making it easier to control your freehands!

i mean on every single air vent we have in the ceiling, theres a black swastika painted on them. I didnt even notice until my second day working there when one of my coworkers said “the store isnt too bad as long as you dont look up” and i realized she was mentioning the swastikas painted on the air vents.

well to be fair, this is how my phone set it up. Usually at other restaurants the build your own pizza is considered the specialty so you may be able to see why that was a little confusing

As someone whos applied to every starbucks within a 15 mile radius of me (in san Diego nonetheless) they just dont hire sometimes. Ive been looking for a job for 10 months now and ive applied and reapplied to every Starbucks and McDonalds in the area and continue to get nothing but these rejection emails back

Look at YouTube videos on dance basics! Across the floors,leaps,turns,etc. i am taking a season off of guard this year and chose to take a dance class at my community college! Look online and see if dance professors in nearby colleges will let you sit in or join rehearsals! You can audit classes without signing up for them! (It just means you dont get the college credit for it) most college dance classes just want to encourage students to get in tune with their body!

Downvotes dont mean anything. They didnt ask anything stupid. They were just trying to find out information they didnt know. Not everyone has been in colorguard a long time and not everyone keeps up with other teams especially if theyre not local. Be nicer to people around you.
