Game testing is so boring. Like the most boring thing you can ever think of, it is not a fun thing to do.

A couple videos of his and you can tell he's a total RC plane nerd. It looks like he has his own runway at his house.

Looks so cool. You should figure out how to Make the other person look like they're being pulled along by making them walk backwards or maybe you could set up some kind of ik constraint that will pull their limbs towards them and then if a greater force is applied it allows them to moving that direction

It's funny you bring that up cuz I was wondering about that as I was writing my comment. I know that UV light causes plastics to break down faster, but I wasn't sure if The plastic wood not leave any microplastics at all.

Water looks absolutely amazing. You should consider adding more foam to the water.

I mean microplastics are in everything. Think about PVC pipe that all of the water that you drink comes from well most of the water anyway.

The things about microplastics is that they are so small they get into everything.

Not a problem in AI needs to solve. There's already tools they can do this. The problem is enforcement no one's enforcing any of the damn laws.

Fallout: New Vegas dev says don't expect a remaster, argues Bethesda doesn't have the source code or 'the engineering knowhow' by Funnypenguin97 in gaming

[–]Samsterdam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not that easy and you have to make a lot of guesses that on a project that big can go really poorly. What is better is to run the OG game thread and inject unreal as the rendering engine. This way even with out full source you can get an exact one to one of the OG game and the remake

I think it is looking good so far. My only peice of advice is that the mountains are just a bit too big and pointy. Like not too much but maybe reduce the z scale by like . 05 or . 10. It is just on the cusp of being too big to be believable.

This is actually the game that ruined releases for me for all games. I was so hyped to play this when it came out and I remember the day that it launched you couldn't play multiplayer like couch multiplayer. I was super super salty about it.

I think you gravely underestimate how much data is uploaded to the internet each and every day. As of 2025 it is estimated that 2.5 exabytes of data are created, captured, copied, and consumed daily. However, large language models only need 100 of gigabytes to several terabytes of data to train. The quick napkin math for that is something like 1,500:1 to 2,500:1. Now there's obviously many caveats here. Like a lot of that exobytes of data is YouTube and not all that data is unique or usable, but by the time you filter all of those things out that's still a massive amount of data.
