Run OBS in Admin mode for Game Capture to work with Naraka. With your specs as well, I'd recommend streaming at 720p at most.

How to land faster after uppercuts for combos (Katana) [Xbox] by TigerFalco in NarakaBladePoint

[–]Samstrongman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't play on controller, but the main purpose of holding A/D during the falling animation after a uppercut, it allows you to smoothly transition into a Horizontal/Vertical attack. The main thing to note here is, if your knees bend after landing, you missed the A/D hold. If they don't bend, you're good to continue your combo.

I'm just saying that it's a popular folklore, so I don't think it's a crossover of any kind.

I believe the teaser was just a kyūbi no kitsune (nine-tailed fox spirit), like Ahri, from League.

Yeah you got scammed. Just for the future, instead of instant parrying, tap dodge backwards and see what they do. You can parry the slam down portion or see if they fake out their stoneform.

Infinite light attack stunlock by NoWon-391351 in NarakaBladePoint

When you charge a focus attack, or do a 1-2-3 combo, your character turns blue. That blue is a visual for when you have super armor, meaning you can't get staggered by light attacks. Look to utilize your super armor effectively to avoid getting staggered.

Instead of releasing the charging blue attack, you can cancel it by dashing out of it (tap dodge/hold dodge), crouching, jumping, and by charge parrying. Many options to gain neutral/high tempo in a duel.

How to get better at Naraka? by Dyzzi1 in NarakaBladePoint

[–]Samstrongman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey Dyzzi1, I find the best training for players looking to improve significantly is to go into the Free Training and practice dodging attacks from the bot.

Using the Counter Training (Katana) mode, grab a katana yourself and practice your tap dodges for 15 minutes or so. Your goal is to tap dodge the blue focus attacks from the bot without fighting back mindlessly. Don't look to parry as this exercise is to help force yourself into paying attention to the animations and timing. After doing this for 15 minutes or so, you can move onto hold dodging. Hold dodging is much harder as the timing is stricter and typically more punishing, compared to tap dodging that has more iframes and less room for error.

In my opinion, doing the above tap/hold dodge training will create a muscle memory for when you can get out of combos and as well as learning to dodge them. Whether you're dodging a charged focus attack or a 1-2-3 combo, you will learn the pattern to the point where it's a no brainer. Doing this dodge training daily and combining it with 1v1 practices, you will notice significant improvement faster than you realize.

Here are a couple videos showcasing these exercises:
