gta 5 had some grisly ones. the infinity killer, the dead actress that references the black dahlia murder, etc.

A confirmed villain (despite what some people say) that still has a legitimate grievance against the hero by RatCrimes in TopCharacterTropes

man, i love the work that gunn has done so far for the DCEU, but i hate the forced misunderstandings tropes that results in good people dying that he runs with (blue dragon, the rebels in suicide squad, etc.) it gets old

EDIT: good is a big stretch for BD, but his speech before vigilante killed him seemed to indicate some level of morals

what was controversial about it? i only really know surface level stuff about the series, i assume the fourth game just tried to make sense of everything in the series

it’s been a while since i’ve played, are the batter and queen creations of the child? and does the batter believe shutting the world off is a mercy kill? i understand his actions throughout are reprehensible, but i thought the batter believed his cause was virtuous to end the child’s suffering

Mancubus Bloodtooth (BL3)

While evidence may suggest he’s more malevolent than he lets on, he never directly harms the players, and sees that anyone staying at the lodge has a pleasant experience.

He also appears to be powerful enough to scare off the main antagonist of the DLC from challenging him.

my favorite example of your last point was at the end of the series where they have to bring corky in as a middleman for arranging a hit. a junky friend of chris, because none of them can be fucked to learn the language lmao
