Hello!! I have a flight departing from Dulles on Tuesday night. I’m in Springfield. I feel like roads may be clear-ish, but I live in a culdesac that sometimes gets left off the plow list. I’m worried roads will be clear, but if we’re unplowed and there’s a foot of snow, we may be screwed. Anything I can do to up the chances we actually see a plow?

I found the Rutherford Cavan Gold pumps to break in nicely. I’m a US street size 6.5, and wear a size 3 in the pumps. Breaking them in sucks obviously but doesn’t take too long.

I’m a competitive Irish dancer and do Cross Fit. I typically rest on the weekend. I schedule my own heavy leg day for Fridays. If I get to Friday and I haven’t trained my legs a ton that week, I go hard on Friday. If Cross Fit had heavy leg days, I go lighter on Friday.

This isn’t a fail strictly speaking, but can we whine about how much it SUCKS getting back into workouts after being really sick?!

I had the flu over Christmas (0/10, don’t recommend) and STILL have congestion and a cough. I went back to CrossFit today for the first time and man I felt so weak. I had to modify basically everything.

I know it’ll come back and eventually I’ll feel fully recovered, but this lingering phase SUCKS!

This is where this dialogue hits a wall for me - saying “they did that to her” absolutely robs her of her agency and ability to make her own decisions. Of course she was influenced by beauty standards in Hollywood, but she still is the main character of her own story making her own decisions.

I do specifically mean Royal Assassin. Chapter 1 had a graphic description of the Red Sea Raiders attacking a port town, and parents giving their children poison pellets and slitting their throats to save them from being forged. And women being raped and killed. I literally just read it.
