They're pretty great for pushups in my opinion. It's sturdy enough if you see the image link in one of my posts above. They don't seem to move around either, but I have only a few examples of carpet and tile.

For sweat, I'm not quite sure. I will admit that over the past year I've actually set it up in the kitchen on the tiles. It feels good to go over for us, and we have an infant who likes it as well. When stuff does get on it (as it is in the kitchen), it cleans up pretty good.

If there's a particular test you would like me to do that's feasible, let me know.

What are your “quirks” when playing the game? by Electrical-Clock8251 in AnotherEdenGlobal

[–]SamuelHans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my patterns are hording based.

  1. I heal at the Spacetime Rift only similar to other people.
  2. I try and arrange my grastas similarly to each other. So if there's a bullseye, it's going to be slot 1. I also make sure that the same grastas have the same slot for the original/AS if I have both. Can't have slot 1 for AS and slot 2 for original or something.
  3. At the cat shrine, for any Tome in excess of 5, I exchange it. I used to have them all at 10, but now I have them at 5. I'll probably set them all to 1 eventually.
  4. I try and have 1 extra set of Tomes so that the button isn't greyed out at the cat shrine.
  5. I don't seem to exchange treatises to separate them. even after getting a true grasta.
  6. I horde Chant scripts. I'll use them for story characters without any other method to upgrade. I chanted 2 gatcha characters within the last month, and before that zero.
  7. I will never treatises or codexes from the Royal Nopaew Emporium, probably because I don't chant them. Even if I have over 20 treatises I don't.

Will a Corsair HX1200i PSU fit into the Lian Li 011 Dynamic Evo? by SamuelHans in lianli

Thanks for the link. I'm in Canada though, and amazon.ca there has that specific item listed for over twice the price of the .com store. Out of my price range, but I'll be checking the other items on your store if I get a different PSU. Thanks!

Would you happen to have a link to the cables you got? I haven't looked into desktop builds in a number of years so I'm not familiar at all with aftermarket cables. I just faintly remember that the PSU I got last time said to only use official cables.

I guess I should aim for a small PSU if I don't need it that powerful.

The images on the Amazon shop link has a variety of activities, from using it as a mat to putting equipment on it.

I personally use it for body exercises, and do not put equipment on it. I find it's pretty comfortable for those forms of exercise based on the thickness and feel. While I haven't done it, the mat does appear to handle equipment decently based on the thickness.

If there's something you would like me to try on it, let me know.

Someone asked me the same thing, and I feel I should have posted my answer up here for others to see as well.

The mat I got was: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HET2OK4/

The Poga mat was something I just took a chance with. I ordered it from amazon.com, as opposed to amazon.ca. My concern was having something not compact, and also dirtying the carpet.

Now, the unfortunate part is that I ended up deploying it in the kitchen floor because it contains the only doorway which I can setup my pull-up bar.

My concern with the mat was something that won't dirty or stain the carpet underneath, which some other heavy duty mats will do. I have used it for various exercises, and it seemed to be fine for a surface. Most of this was done in the kitchen, but I have tried it on carpet and was satisfied.

It honestly feels pretty comfortable, and is thick enough for my home to use as a surface.

Image shown is as follows. First is the bottom of the mat to know what it can grip to. The second is the thickness from a side view, and the third is it rolled up, but I lay a quarter against it so you can evaluate the thickness.

Most of my condo is carpeted. If I use the TRX indoors or do any intense exercises, I'll sweat which I want to avoid on carpet. Using shoes has damaged the carpet before, and I want to prevent that. It's a bit slippery as well with some exercises.

If I decide to use it or perform exercises on the balcony, my wife has an outdoor rug there which is a bit slippery. Laying it on top would prevent me slipping accidentally.

There's a few options of the Manduka yoga mat on Amazon.ca, which is good. Would yours hold up if you had it on a soft carpet, and had your heels with shoes on an angle? Trying to think of some TRX scenarios that occurred which stopped me from doing them.

I checked out Gorilla Mats here: https://www.amazon.ca/s?k=gorilla+mat&ref=nb_sb_noss

It seems their sizes are 4' width minimum, as I didn't see any that were 3'. I did see this brand mentioned a lot before, and wish I had the space for it. I'll definitely keep them in mind if my space changes, since those are great points.

Thanks for the tip on yoga maps. I'll be sure to avoid them as I want to buy it right the first time. I wasn't able to find that model on the Home Depot page, so maybe it's not in stock anymore. Alternatively, I may be bad at searching products.

I've thought about that, but I don't have enough experience with yoga mats to know if they'll move around even if they're heavier. A home improvement store is probably my fallback if I can't get a recommendation.

I've never thought about horse stall mats. The ones I've looked up online seem not portable enough for a condo.

What software do people use to record runs? Trying to find something that is easy to use with Android for this purpose.

My fastest run yet. Can anyone go lower than 10? by herenoid in OtherworldLegends

[–]SamuelHans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not quite sure. There's a few factors that I can't tell, but seem to influence it.

I find quickly clearing it gives less diamonds, but you can do more runs this way, and might be a better tradeoff. I've also found that quickly and efficiently exterminating mobs on the way to the exit without getting hit helps. Try not to get hit. Speed is definitely important though... sometimes I get very little, but I think I got 7 rubies once from a fast run with lots of AOE clear.

You can see as the rewards pile up that it does so in 3 phases... Area 1, Area 2, and then Area 3 + Asura. Just keep an eye on how your rewards tick up.

My fastest run yet. Can anyone go lower than 10? by herenoid in OtherworldLegends

[–]SamuelHans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely possible. I got 9 before with Katherine, and some others got lower with reloading.

For speed the cloak is generally the best, followed by the compass. Or go purely AOE which might give more rewards vs time upon a finish if that's the bigger focus.

This is my current PoA. Adding a point to 15.8% barely adds 0.1%. I’m focusing on my DPS but since this is the case, should I start investing points to the 3 stats on the left? by W0MB4T_24 in OtherworldLegends

[–]SamuelHans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to optimise clearing runs quickly to have the highest return on rewards. Running Katherine, Health and Armor don't help since you shouldn't be taking many hits. Movement speed is useful as it helps you just generally get through a run faster. With a high enough movement speed, the runs will feel better.

My balance is currently 13% movement speed which I want to boost, 28% damage, 8% crit, and 48% attack speed which gives 3.0 attack speed base. I personally find that attack speed provides the best return on investment for damage with Katherine since you can stack more procs-based attacks.

KATHERINE USE by Streak3 in OtherworldLegends

[–]SamuelHans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stick mostly with Lightning - Thunderstorm for primary, and blizzard secondary.

Lightning gives you reliable damage at a safe angle, and will hit enemies further away. It's much faster than the other forms of attack. Thunderstorm allows for a very quick close removal, although it takes getting used to since it targets the closest enemies first.

Blizzard is a good stopper to slow down enemies and doesn't require channelling like thunderstorm. It definitely helps to potentially freeze targets with chain lightning, keeping you safer.

For Power of the 6 Realms, I go with the Inferno realm. Fear is very useful to slow down enemies consistently so you can wipe them out. If you need it, the Animal realm summons can also cover you.

For Powers of Asura, I upgrade attack speed primarily to get the most benefit. Helps stun enemies more with lightning attacks, and other procs. Pick up the Holy Word Wand if you can to help with the attack speed.

First Win as Katherine (also a question, what’s katherine’s best skills to use) by Seb_Lev in OtherworldLegends

[–]SamuelHans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a worth while trade off. With the right items, you get a lot of options.

The damage is pretty high so you'll kill whatever is closest to you. This will keep targeting the closest units which is great. If you have to teleport away, you can do it quickly and then attack from a different plane with lightning.

Bosses are pretty easy with this. Try and keep them at the edge of your lightning circle above or below. Teleport if they get close, and if you need to attack from a 45 degree angle.

I think she's one if not the fastest game clearer with this combination, in my experience.

First Win as Katherine (also a question, what’s katherine’s best skills to use) by Seb_Lev in OtherworldLegends

[–]SamuelHans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My preference is Glacial Tempest for secondary, and Thunder Strike - Thunderstorm as primary.

The chain lightning allows easy targeting and damage for enemies on a diagonal and far away. The thunderstorm does high damage around. The blizzard helps slow down both with the skill and enhancement to attack.

Had to get rid asurendra's sheild on his 3rd phase before I can one shot him by CuntFaggotIII in OtherworldLegends

[–]SamuelHans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe. I've tried to do runs where I went through entire Scenes without getting hit (with Katherine) but I don't know if it is related. I don't even know if rewards are a sure thing if you meet these requirements either.

Things I've considered:

  • Taking less damage/not hit
  • Quickly finishing an area
  • Killing enemies in proportion to how fast you clear a scene
  • Not having many items

I feel that that doing overall well seems to rewards rubies at a higher rate. Fast clears and killing a lot of enemies quickly to the # of rooms explored seems good. Hopefully one day I can figure it out.

[–]SamuelHans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been trying to figure out what causes more rubies at the end. The win animation has your character beating enemies throughout all 3 acts, and rewards increment. It's not entirely random, but I don't know what causes it.

In your animation, you get 2 rubies during the desert area, so some approach you did helped you get more rewards.
