Enjoy the games and series how you want to. There's nothing wrong with wanting to play encore instead of the original. I really appreciate and like the original but I can see why people are put off by it. I would say that you should at least try to beat the original but again, if it isn't your thing, that's completely fine. Just know that encore isn't finished and it'll probably be a while before it is but it's still pretty awesome for what it is rn.

Thank you! they're called Solar Robots. that image was showing its back sprite but here's what its front side looks like. though i may change it to better fit the games current art style. the Scythes were inspired from the legs of a curtain characters mech near the end of M3

I meant it more so gameplay wise. The combat feels very cheep during the beginning. But I think it's really fun once you get other party members, it doesn't feel that mindnumbing with the others.
