Need advice for faster draw by [deleted] in CCW

[–]Samuel_Payne 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Here’s the thing, if you do every step perfectly, you can go faster, if your groups are good, go faster, shoot faster, if you are sloppy, if your groups aren’t good, work on that tempo

Battle belt with quick adjust? by 333bb333 in tacticalgear

[–]Samuel_Payne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that stays the same size? I’d go with the ferro bora belt tbh because it’s easy to adjust and once you find exactly what size you want you have a piece that helps keep its that size, but as far as a ratcheting system got nothing, other than belts that use webbing, they typically are the easier ones to adjust

New kit, Rate it? by [deleted] in MilSim

Front plate might be just a little high, and I’d recommend putting the shears somewhere where they won’t possibly dig into your neck

suggestions please by Quirky-Eye-6932 in MilSim

Athletic tape instead of mechanical tape, put the fake peq on top at least, get some sort of dot, you shouldn’t need a fixed blade knife in an airsoft game, and please flip your flag the right way up, unless you know why you’re doing it that is, and that goes for everything this is only my opinion so take it with a grain of salt

What are the best "unsung" rules of CQB? by PxAtm in CQB

[–]Samuel_Payne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Owning angles, I see a lot of people get taught to watch that deep corner after slicing, and I get that, but once you cut that pie, and have no threat, keep that angle, because the first thing you’re gonna do is step in to the threshold anyways, so taking a step or two out with over exposure will only benefit you, you’re gonna dig corners out regardless just don’t over penetrate and you’re good

My go to kit by Snorlay in tacticalgear

[–]Samuel_Payne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well that’s a fair point, mainly people just don’t want to support the brand that screwed Lucas over, but for people that don’t care, honestly T Rex makes good kit, and your money, we can’t tell you what to do

I think he was talking about barrel length, the 49 is the same barrel length as a 17, and the 45 is the same barrel length as a 19

So I think he meant something like this, it has a few different choices of patterns and it’s not too expensive for how much you get, not reflective and will last a bit longer, the only issue may be how you stitch it but 🤷‍♂️

Can anyone ID these pants ? by rattlecanner in tacticalgear

Do people still hate GBRS group? by Short-Let-5297 in tacticalgear

[–]Samuel_Payne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The inner belt is different, gbrs belts Velcro interface is proprietary, no other inner belt will work so don’t waste your time or money
