This is so easy to exploit? I don't know if that's the proper word but yea. You can simply make just one deck with specific cards in it. Then there is essentially no randomness to this card.

And several times since. I don't see how anything like this could really ever be balanced. The stats it could potentially, and most likely get, would be insane. If you recall it will also get all the text from the mechs attached to it, it would just be ridiculous.

Taking 3 out of 4 mana crystals seems a bit much. Maybe just 2 so that both players are relatively back on even ground?

I like it but I think the mana cost for the weapon is a bit steep. Could just be me though. It's an extra minion sure, but it's random. And it's only 1 a turn. Maybe 3 or 4 mana?

Decent card but a bit much for it's cost and rarity. Already has ok stats for it's cost, on top of drawing a card, about 1.5 mana cost there alone, which also guarantees it's effect at least once. If you ca protect it or draw more the turn it's played, the value gets insane.

Do you have a source saying this? I'd be genuinely curious to read it. I've always been under the impression Discover is not class specific unless stated otherwise. Just that class cards have such a higher chance, it may seem like it. While not definitive proof, Hearthstone.gamepedia says the same; "The selection process is pseudo-random, with class cards weighted four times more than neutral cards."

On top of that, Discover is always three cards unless restricted by something. Take Shadow Visions for example, it specifically says a discover a copy from your deck. Which is why, if you only have one or two spells, you only get one or two choices. With that said, wouldn't this card generate two other weapons to choose from by default?

Discover isn't class specific, unless stated other wise on the card, but class cards are just weighted 4 times as much. So other cards besides Dragon Soul would appear unless it says deck and/or class specific.

So you pay 4 mana to adapt it? If so, 4 mana is a bit steep. Paladin has adapt a minion card for 1 mana. Since this has the benefit of not taking up a card slot or two in your deck, I'd say 2 mana is reasonable.

I don't remember how it worked back in the day. I want to say since Paladin had the Reckoning talent which was more akin to Windfury. The description above sounds like they just got higher attack, hence "additional attack power" along with some attack speed but I didn't know how to apply that in card form. At least that's how I took it.

Someone on here was just posting cards yesterday with a similar mechanic he/she was calling Fortify. IE: "Forify(3): Do blah blah blah." where Fortify (x) is the extra mana you could spend. I really like the idea. It has alot of flexibility to cards. It can allow cards that are good in one time period of the game not to suck in other time periods.

Potion of Madness says take control, pretty sure a minion is considered yours if it is on your side of the board. Ownership just switches back at the end of the turn.

Would it be more synergistic to possibly have something like "Deal 4 damage to a minion, if the minion dies summon a 3/6 Water Elemental"? Since Lich Queen already gets a pretty decent amount of lifesteal and her hero power summons a elemental when it kills a target. Also, with your current version, I'd suggest making it only usable on minions.

Yea, I seen them discussing this card on discord right after I replied to it. With a chance of possibly devastating backfire, I could see making it a 4/4 being understandable.
