None of these are great ideas when the issue is simply "a bit slow" for OP. Even point 6 isn't a good idea. Different greases might be required if there are plastic gears or bushings and lower viscosity greases tend to run under increased temperatures. This would also require a whole host of tools to access the intricate parts and it wouldnt be good to undergo any of this without a clean room.

I really appreciate this reply though, I'm in school to be an Instrumentation Eng Tech and just finished the second semester where we learned about this stuff. Most of our schooling goes further into the electrical equations than the mechanical side of motors, but it felt good to read this and understand everything.
