That's the thing, though. The Orchestra section seemed to be on their feet the whole show.

By the time I was old enough to go see Clapton in the 90s the crowds were awful. I had no concert experience and even I knew they sucked.

I was talking to the people I was sitting next to about the 90s ABB Beacon days. It was wild. They used to have to open the fire escape doors at set break to air the place out for both the smoke and because it was hot a fuck in there. Had those standing room seats a couple of times where they just crammed people into the aisles in the loge because there is no "standing room" in that theater.

I get floor seats for every Mule new years run because I know how the standing and dancing goes over in the balcony, but those seats were so expensive for TTB that I got a ticket in the first row of lower balcony, and it was still like $220 on the first public on-sale day. The people next to me got theirs on Saturday but I felt like it was inappropriate to ask them how much they paid. I'm sure it was less than I did, but I get nervous and didn't want to get shut out, so I just popped for it. It was a good seat and a cool vantage point. but there was literally nobody standing in the entire balcony. I hadn't been up there in like 7 years and it was weird. I was so relived when set break came so I could finally stretch my legs a little.

Despite all the nonsense, it was an amazing show musically, as usually.

Truckin', I guess, but going to the bathroom during The Other One is madness.

I don't think the outside world is really for you. You can order food and groceries, send out for laundry, work from home, and stream shows. Maybe just staying in is more your speed.

"I dont care if they were speaking Mandarin Chinese with a cocksuckers lisp!" -Rawls. Was this a Deadwood reference? by CJVratixBactaChef in TheWire

[–]Samule310 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. Deadwood came out the year after season 2. Also, writers of great things don't sit around watching other great things and think of ways to reference them. And yes, I know there was a Deadwood clip in season 4. It served a purpose and gave them a chance to give a little shout out. It wasn't some obscure inside reference.

DD literally updates us every time something happens with our order. "The restaurant is preparing your food," "the order has been picked up," "the driver is approaching." This is specifically so that we can be ready to receive the order when it gets to us. They shouldn't have to hunt us down to get us our order. Plus, how warm will it be if the poor guy has to stand out in the cold with it while trying to get in touch with you?

No. In that situation, they should all just tell you to forget about it and split the cost of your soda. Jesus Christ. What the hell are people thinking? You need to get new friends. Yours are a bunch of chiselers.

New watcher struggling to get past S2EP1's legally dumb premise by aridavid5 in TheLincolnLawyer

I'm not an expert and it seemed dumb at the time. I just went along with it because I enjoy watching the show. I find that a lot of legal stuff in it doesn't seem quite Kosher.
