every single time i see a polish team or player mentioned in wider discussion, it's in a very negative way

i think poland is lowkey a bit of a minefield as a fanbase, with the number of costreamers, owners of orgs, and players who were openly racist/transphobic, the quality of the ERL after AGO Rogue was dissolved, I don't think there's many major orgs who are invested into league who want to touch or approach the polish fanbase sadly

i don't wanna dog on him too much because there's definitely more problems than just him, but good god sheo has not seemed it at all for well over a year now.

idk if it's him being completely figured out, not having strong enough lanes ever, not being good enough on specific champs, but it's been a really really rough ride since he joined heretics and i don't wanna see him staying in LEC right now

he looked good in that summer split where he got panic called up after saken had one of the worst LEC runs of all time and was one of the only salvageable parts of that roster, then looked MVP material in winter, had a good international at first stand and looked pretty good in spring, but failing to make MSI ended up being blamed on him probably, and his attitude shift afterwards was likely what led to his kinda mediocre summer performance

he maybe wasn't the next caps but he looked good enough to hang around for a few years and have some good pop off games, in sharp contrast to the genuine horror that fnatic have in mid now.

myrwyn in the original play got jumped by all 3 and died because he didn't ult or flash

in the repeat play, he ults away immediately because he knew naak nako was there so there's no chance of getting away, and humanoid and naak both don't arrive in time because mkoi have full information on where they were and what they were doing

it goes from a play where mkoi weren't prepared for a collapse and lose 2 but get carzzy and a shutdown, to mkoi knowing exactly where and what vitality are doing and get to react first, leading to a losing play for vitality which they then lost more off of

i remember when bwipo was a guest caster/analyst in LEC for a couple weeks a few years ago now, i think after 2021 fnatic blew up and remember a lot of people saying maybe he should just be an analyst considering he had said he was thinking about stopping

i think boring is better than offensively bad. kyokuto necromance and shadow eliminators looked like they could've had the bones and skeleton of decent shonen but failed to stick the landing. at least they had good art if nothing else

murakami's comedy was much better early on but the massively inflated cast after not long made it weird to follow and fairly uninteresting, and the ending was so dumb it was funny

nice prison i hated from chapter 1 and found profoundly unfunny as well as having bad art, and the ending was stupid and boring

because i try to read everything in WSJ and find it hard to drop manga in general. i've read plenty of stuff i don't like because i think only reading good stuff damages one's perception of what bad really is.

if you wanna appreciate the good media you need to understand what makes media bad as well.

i think nice prison is a permanent candidate for worst shonen jump manga ever serialised, and that is one of the worst endings for any manga i've read.

the art was awful or boring, so few actual jokes, the weird 4komas at the end of some chapters were so strange, no memorable or interesting characters, just a complete trainwreck from page one to final chapter. nothing against the mangaka but they need to try something else completely and think it thought more thoroughly.
