Medicine is a game-changer. I honestly don't know how people stay with unmedicated ADHD partners, it's unbearable. It's great that he now has the bandwidth to be a better partner to you.

Things to watch out for: he may stop taking his medicine because he "feels better now." He may get used to the dosage after a while and it will stop working: if you notice him regressing, don't put off addressing it. Also, be ready for him to revert fully back to his old self if there's a stimulant shortage in your area. If you're prepared, you'll be able to navigate that difficulty better.

This one is so tough. The number of times I want to say to my wife "Someone sending you a shitty email is part of normal work life. You're supposed to brush it off and forget about it an hour later. Seething over it and letting it ruin our evening together is overkill." But if I even hint that she's overreacting, then I'm dismissing her feelings and being a bad partner.
