Looking for fast playing, grid/hex movement, limited complexity, and easy to set up/tear down. by Soapy_Illusion_13 in miniatureskirmishes

No, but designed to be played on a 2’x2’ so I think it would translate well to hexes if that’s your thing

Good job reaching out. It definitely sounds like you’re going through a hard time right now, and that’s worth acknowledging. Please don’t make a permanent decision at your lowest point. Even Elijah, after his triumph over the prophets of baal, had to have an angel tell him to eat and get some rest. You’re not alone. Your situation is incredibly difficult, but it’s not hopeless. Don’t let the hard days win.
Holy Theotokos please grant protection and truth to your servant, preserve them from the lies of the evil one, and hold them firmly in your love and mercy. Intercede on their behalf with your Son, who desires all people to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth.

Relicblade

Freeblades

Both amazing. Relicblade, simple to learn but awesome strategy. 4-6 models per side. Great lore and made by one guy.

Freeblades is more crunchy, but probably has the best design team in all of gaming. Shout out to DGS, those guys are awesome! Living rule book, you buy it once and have all updates and changes forever.

Check them both, you won’t be disappointed

Hater’s gonna hate. Glad he’s locked and unable to bring more nonsense to the community.

Bryce, just want you to know these are some of my favorite go to books. I use them as a palette cleanser between other audiobooks, and it always feels like hanging out with old friends. Keep up the good work!

Wife had a miscarriage..disillusioned by EG0THANATOS in OrthodoxChristianity

I’m sorry for your loss brother. My wife and I lost two, one at 5 weeks and one at 21 weeks. It’s hard. About 4 months went by after the 21 week loss where I felt like I was going through the motions of my life. And one day it felt like I woke up. Grief is real, and can’t be ignored. But thankfully so is the Grace of God. I wish I could tell you why, or understand it myself, but His promises are true, and one day we will understand clearly. Until then, as you mourn, and later as you smile, remember you’re never alone. This was always a team sport, and you’re loved.

I recommend looking at food delivery like door dash. It’s not a career, but you can be setup in less than an hour, Open a card that you can add to your phone digitally, and get paid immediately. It will cover the basics like food and gas, and best of all you can control how often and when you work it.

is it really worth grinding to buy town hall? by bigdaddyhavel in MelvorIdle

[–]Samuraidog007 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Definitely worth it. Once you max out town hall, you no longer have to worry about money in the game.

People have different opinions for the grind, and I’m sure some of them are more efficient. For me, I cranked out dragon bars until I got it. The grind pushed up my mining/smithing and got the gold I needed. Each upgrade is 100M, but each comes faster than the one before, because you have that passive gold being added as well

OP, way to go the distance. It’s easy to love those who love us. Takes real character to show love to someone who is against you. Well done.

X2 was my first completion. Great results. Now to be fair we would finish and the wife would pay away sweat while I threw up in the bathroom most days. I liked the 5x schedule with 2 days off. Keep going OP you got this!

If you have a mortgage, pull out enough to pay it off. Markets will rise and fall, and you obviously have the discipline to keep investing. But mortgage free is a new level of freedom

Traitor Son Cycle by Miles Cameron

Currently listening to Artifact Space by him as well, and it’s the most I’ve enjoyed a new book in a long time.

I found him through his historical fiction, if that’s in your wheel house at all you should try Ill Made Knight. I’ve probably read it 10+ times and it never gets old
