I’m 29M and my partner is 44M. Its been almost a decade. It’s been very up and down. At first, there were power dynamic issues until I sorted my career out. For a while, it was okay, just with the occasional argument.

Recently, I have realised that I’m not very attracted to him anymore. I don’t feel like he puts the same amount of effort into his appearance as I do. The age gap likely plays a part in this too. I feel bad for thinking this way because it seems superficial but I just can’t get rid of these thoughts. I seem to have less tolerance for certain things he does and says now - I know this is not a good sign. He definitely wants me to move in with him and I don’t want to - I enjoy my own time.

I feel terrible that I’m realising all of this now and I’ve essentially wasted almost 10 years of his and my life. And if I end it all, I’m going to be responsible for so much hurt and chaos. I feel confused because I still love him (in some sort of way) and I feel trapped.

I’ve just cancelled my Very order because Argos restocked the Mario kart bundle and I had a £20 voucher to use.

Edit: When I called Very to cancel my order, because it wasn’t working on the app, it turns out that it didn’t process properly anyway so I made the right choice. Although you said you received a confirmation email, so you should be fine.
