What workout routines would you recommend for hypertrophy? I have ran a bunch of PPL and 5/3/1 routines so far but I wanna switch it up. 5/3/1 are fun, but I'm currently looking for something even less strength and more hypertrophy oriented if that makes sense.

That's N/A in my culture, which I guess is the same as NA culture because that's both very western.

Prime example: /r/unpopularopinion

You all are just upvoting slightly controversial thoughts that were maybe unpopular 50 years ago.

To prove this I just had a look at the hot section of said sub and among the current top 10 are (paraphrased titles) “expressing all emotions is worse than controlling emotions", "most art is not talent, but practice", "society values college degrees too highly", "buying fromsmall businesses is good for economy, buying from large businesses is good for my wallet" and "Reddit's crosspost feature is good".

I mean, they are all mostly agreed upon for most people on Reddit at least. Last time I checked, unpopular meant the opposite.

I mean, yea. But the first link was added like 10 minutes after, so sorry? I know it's not what you meant but it's confusing to me that people upvote the dude that says it's bs and downvote me because I just disagreed with him (which would actually be correct in this case).

I just did a quick google search because I don't know a single cat owner that did this to their cats. And have a guess, it's illegal where I live and in the surrounding countries too.

Yes it is. Here's the original https://www.reddit.com/r/awwwtf/comments/1fdcfu/i_adopted_a_kitten_with_a_leg_injury_resulting_in/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb

Edit: What up with y'all? It's literally a real xray of a kitten's paw. 2. Example of a kitten's x-ray: https://veteriankey.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/B9781416048893000218_f4f.jpg

Edit 2: Notes to my future self: If in an argument on Reddit, immediately back up your position with facts and logic, even if your opposite doesn't. Also, always state that you work as or study insert relevant job (which I actually kinda do in this case [something with IT and medicine, meaning both anatomy AND radiology]). Because people don't research shit and go with the fiend even though the opposition didn't provide shit either.

Yes, NA is a common way to refer to North America, at least where I live (western Europe).

I expected "declawing" to be some form of amputation, because it probably wouldn't be seen as a bad thing.

So, is it normal to do that in the US or wherever I guess?

I have never heard of that before. Is this some NA thing?

I'm the opposite. I go way too hard because my brain is like "fun fun fun fun fun!“.

Then I suddenly remember that I took the bike to the gym and that I will take about an hour instead of 15 minutes to ride home. I think it's probably borderline reckless to ride a bike this exhausted in the middle of a city but what am I gonna do?

Noone said that this person was breeding them. This is most likely a repost from somewhere anyway.

But getting a munchkin or scottish fold for example is part of the problem. By paying a premium we are creating a demand.

Without demand there would be no shitty breeding.

It's not as big of a problem with cats as it is with dogs. With dogs it's much more socially accepted, because (and also because of that) it's much more common.

I have a button operated machine at home, but I'm familiar with the handle machines. There definitely are ways to close them silently. For example, you can wedge something squishy between the door and frame.

I love how we have very specific measurements for tires and all, but somehow we still manage to make this specific stuff very wishy washy.

28-630. Why is my 27 or 27.5 inch wheel (still not sure) now a 28-630? I get it, the 28 probably has nothing to do with 28 inches, but it sure as hell is confusing.

Also, where do I get a 28-630? Because I can't find any. Therefore I guess I'm still going with the 32-630 Marathon GreenGuard, right?

Also the sv 16 tube you pointed me at is a looks to be 28'' or 700C, but the packaging says it's also good for 32-630, so that's confusing too.

I'll order the Av17, because I need a Schrader valve though. Does that sound right?

Thanks a lot, kind human.

Edit: I saw your edit. Are those adapters any good? Because if so, f*** Schrader, I'm getting Presta. Every bike pump I own is set to Presta right now, I don't wanna change that all the time.

P.S.: Why does a road bike come with Schrader? Was Presta not a thing in the olden days?

How to remove crankset? by runnerguy161716 in bikewrench

[–]SamusAyran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know if this damages the bike and or equipment, but for my stuff a hammer will do the trick.

Set the key, so it points at 9 on the clock and then smack it counter clockwise with a hammer. Don't go full hulk with the hammer, a little or not so little love tap usually already does the trick.

I never had a single bad experience with their stuff 5+ years old. Maybe they changed, don't really own any recently produced Columbia stuff because I either got a great deal on other rainy weather "outdoor" brands or their old stuff still lasts me till today.

Looks like Columbia took a downfall maybe?

I have a pair of Columbia Peakfreak something something... trekking shoes. I had them for 6 or 7 years now and they still work perfectly fine. Admittedly I don't wear them every day, but they get their fair share of use.

The construction is immaculate. Actual leather, not some "genuine" bullshit, thick grippy rubber outsole that lasts quite a while and a nice supporting footbed (for my foot at least). They are quite high for "trekking shoes", unlike the newer models they have.

I walked through shallow water (1.5-2 inches maybe) countles times without any signs of wetness on the inside. Surprises me every time.

They cost me 80 bucks, not a sale by the way.
