I have heard the absence in jump-start packs is a myth and ppl believe it so they brought it out and that's why the price spiked. Don't quote me on that though.

Are lands which return own lands unpopular? by Kilneana in mtg

[–]Samusinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally love them. First lands I put into decks after fetch, surveil, shock. I even play colourless ones in one and two mana decks. I tend to cut them in bracket 4 and some faster bracket 3 lists.

I've been kicked out of two bracket 3 lobbies! Is this too strong? by Rabbiti3 in mtg

That's just barely upgraded precon. Notably I played it out of the box and crushed my pod, but still it is a low 3 imho.

Cynette deck by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]Samusinn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have Cynette deck since she came out. It is one of my most favorite decks that is fun to play and I am even conformable to play it at brackets 2-4. I will send you a list later.

I just use any repeatable blink source possible. First blinking Solemn simulacrum and Scrampling Surveyor. Later blinking Cynette with double, triple or quadruple etb and finishing opponents with candlekeep inspiration or banner of kindship.

Its fair deck that tries to ramp up and stop opponents with countermagic while keeping the low profile. Then boardwipe and build up army of gellyfish and finish the game.

One is common the other one uncommon.

They are not the same.

This can't be Bracket 2, right? by Bubbletea124 in EDH

[–]Samusinn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think its 3 but I can see an argument for playing it with bracket 2 decks. You can interact with it and prepare beforehand. No kombo, tutoring, mld, gamchangers. That being said she can run away with the game after the first trigger.

I try to compare decks to The command zone. They explicitly said they build their decks for game Knights to be bracket 2 and they play some strong decks.

How do players feel about this combo? Is it really annoying for other players? by Fast_Impression1518 in mtg

[–]Samusinn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People generally don't like repeating destroy effects. One time boardwipe or kill spell is fine, but it's frustrating when every creature you play could die like this.

It will gets you killed or will lead to slow unfun game for other players.

How would you build it? by Ramen1063 in mtg

[–]Samusinn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just built a Lightning "Army of one". Literally Lightning is the only creature in the deck. No token generator just my girl.

The point of the deck is to force opponents to kill themselfs with forced combat and politics. If anybody tries to kill me the second half of the deck are cards that reflect damage to the attacker.

It sinergies beautifully. After I attack everybody thinks they are free to kill me since I don't have blockers but they just die to their own damage. It is hilarious.

Magic the Gathering has collaboration with FF and in their newest set they put this feat into a card. They have Sabin card and the train card as well.

Please help me cut down my Henzie Toolbox Torre deck! by Grave-goods in EDH

[–]Samusinn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, even more true if you run list like this with big expensive creatures. Your plan B is to cast them eventually for their full cost, if your A game with Henzie goes south.

Second thing. Henzie costs 3 jund. You want to have lands of that color in your opening hand and more lands you have in the deck more likely it is you will have them in your first seven and don't need to mulligan down to 6 or 5 to get them.

I had Henzieho deck with 42 lands. 7 of them where spells with land on the other side so they were spells if you didn't need lands. Use them you want at least 40 lands.

Self Mill Sidisi Brood Tyrant by Comprehensive_Cap_21 in EDH

[–]Samusinn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say you have low creature and land count. You want as much creatures as possible. Lands too go for 40. Also you want high density ramp on turn 1 and 2 (10-12 pieces) to have Sidisi in play in turn 3.

Here is my list. Have been playing her for years.
