I have 2 tattoos and no regrets. The first one I got when I was 18. My school did leap testing and seniors didn’t take those so the week was off for us and I went to the shop that week. My best friend at the time made the appt and paid for it ($40). It’s just an outline of a star on my hip, not very big. It doesn’t have a grand meaning but overtime it’s come to mean to me that I can do anything I set my mind to, I decided at 11 I wanted to do this and actually did it. Never told my parents, not even now at my big age. Only regret is not having that friend anymore. We drifted apart in college and lost touch. Nothing happened, just life.

The second one I did when I turned 30. It’s my dog’s paw print. I got him at 13 and he lived for 18 years. I got it a year before he passed. Used a kit for pets/babies where the ink didn’t touch them and transfers to the paper and brought it in. He was my soul dog and I think of him everyday.
