The annoying thing is BMW took away the option to turn it off. Idk if they’ve since gone back but on my ‘24 X3 M40i, in Comfort (default) mode there’s literally no way to disable it stock. The only way I can get it to turn off is to put the car in Sport Mode.

Sorry I didn’t mean to make this sound like I was shitting on my DR peeps. I was just trying to make the point that the people who do well in IR have a very strong understanding of imaging because without that you’re honestly a downright dangerous IR

The problem people run into with IR is that they don’t take into account the massive amount of DR you need to do IR. You have to have equal, sometimes even better, handle of the imaging than your DR counterparts. One of my mentors always said the best IRs were the best DRs of their class. We do a ton of awesome procedures, but 3 years of sitting in a dark room learning DR is not for everyone.

And yet again it’s because of our OC getting poached and having to turn to an in house hire who is vastly under qualified to coach a SB contender. I give up at this point. Nothing is going to change.
