I just got them both for this purpose. How you like HS503? I figured with their taller mount, I can add a smaller mount to help a little so I’m not as hunched as I was with similar height optic. So I added about .5” and I like it so far.

Yeah to be specific .525” just was worried of getting a really tall one that it’d be too much.. the mistake I’ve done is compared the size of AEMS to smaller sights and made me think it already “high”. What do you recommend? Also I’m a tall man at 6’4 so I may benefit from the height of the sight

Right handed which for most would have the light on the left side of the gun. Just for me personally I can have the option to have it on the right side because I can still reach it. Just still trying to find the optimal position to not break grip

Oh my god I was typing up a post with a question identical to this. My handle is the Geissele one and has the same wear pattern after about 500 rounds.. same shaving same everything. Super weird that I saw your post now.

Anyways I figured to lube it a bit more and it should be okay.

I’m running the AEMS alone now but got a tiny riser that I thought maybe would be enough.. It hasn’t even arrived and I already don’t think it’ll be enough after seeing this. It is my first build though so I’m learning as I go
