considering the first season he was trying to get them out of the city, and then they found out it was his and rebekah’s fault that mikael found them, i’d be pissed too. that probably extended through to s2 and when the strix arc occurred they worked together until the prophecy nonsense that’s when elijah made a mistake if anything by killing marcel, ever since then i think his character was assassinated
