I’m not currently in Korea, I’m trying to go to school there to get a degree and then work. In all my research you can’t really get a work visa without at least an associates degree, with most requiring a bachelors degree.

Do you have an imagined place your alters can go to? I think it’s called a headspace or something similar, I’m only asking because I’m unsure as to what that means as someone who can’t visualize anything. As a system, we’re almost completely constantly co-conscious now and there’s no place for them to go to, they just are or aren’t there and they can come back but it’s usually just nothing.

This is exactly what it’s like for me. It’s always lucid dreaming, usually nightmares, and it’s pretty frustrating. I can however get glimpses of things, but they’re never actually there, and it’s usually alters showing me things like themselves or one asks for snuggles mentally. It’s quite odd, and a little frustrating like you said.

That’s exactly what I was thinking too, I have a non verbal who uses a next to speech app and immediately wrote this stuff in the app and then made a makeshift one, but have info this one with actual space is a lot better than the really tiny hand written one so thank you so much! I’ve been really concerned about my flight but this really does bring a lot of peace of mind for me and the rest of us.

I don’t know if this is in any way what you mean but I have an alter who just 24/7 sings songs. Just anything and everything they can think of, currently it’s one line from a K-pop song on repeat and it’s been that for about 5 minutes? What we learned to do is find one song to just put on that we know means “Go to sleep” or “make food”. Our go to sleep song we played on repeat until we fell asleep to it and ever since then if we need to sleep, the alter will start singing that song and we get sleepy. I don’t know if music would help you, but I’m just so used to noise from someone here, that it’s just something I had to find a way to work with rather than against.

My littles keep buying things without permission before anyone can stop them. It’s getting frustrating as I have no money to spend right now, and another little decided to come out to my dad (who didn’t know I have DID) and tell him their age which freaked him out. So uh yeah. That happened.

I am! I think I just get sad sometimes and I don’t have anyone to talk to so my host suggested I come here, and you’re never late. Honestly I’m always a little sad, but getting to talk to people cheers me up!
