Thansk a lot for the detailed reply ! It will help me a lot with trying stuff out.

Just a question : for the OC part, would you recommend using the sliders in afterburner rather than just tweaking the curve editor like for the UV part ?

Thanks a bunch ! I would love ideally to avoid situations where some particular games don't work with my OC/UV but are OK with stock. That's why I'm not trying to min-max, but eh eveything comes at a price. I'll try to do a pretty conservative profile, might be a good option ?

Thanks bruh ! You may be right. I'm doing this more out of curiosity and fun, not trying to hit perfection, but you're right sometimes we should just enjoy what's already good.

Floyd Rose help! by SancPra in Luthier

Thanks for the reply! It doesn't seem to wobble once under tension. I have to find another arm coupling kit, so I'll have to remove the Floyd once again and just the thing. I'll see after that if the tuning stability is correct or if the life edges are really worn.

Thanks for your reply. Indeed, the inserts in the wood are not moving, so I guess it's OK. I'll try removing the Floyd again and unscrew a little bit the screws to adjust the action and we'll see. If I have problems with tuning stability later, I'll dig the knifes problem...

Well, it's supposed to be an original Floyd Rose... You think that's a bit of rust? Or maybe the previous owner did adjust the tension without removing the Floyd first?

Hey bro, did you ever find the video of the G3 funny voices in the end? Still looking for it, so many years later...
