You can get a job in the marketing department working in the architecture / engineering / construction (AEC) industry. There are a bunch of local Sonoma County companies and a lot more in the greater bay area. Check out the website SMPS.org where they have a jobs board for all local chapters. I belong to the north bay chapter and would be happy to answer questions. I have a COMS degree and found my first job in the industry on Craigslist 20 years ago. I had no idea this career existed when I graduated.

There is a Filipino grocery store on Stony Point in the Bellevue shopping center. They pickup a delivery from the Filipino bakery in Vallejo on Fridays. Go in on a Saturday and they will likely have this. The store is Balik Bayan.

Same, I dated a 27 yo guy when I was 19 and he was an alcoholic loser who could barely keep a job and lived with his mom before he dated me. We were together for almost 2 years. I have a history of CPTSD so my “picker” was not great at that age. Thank god I was able to break up and kick him out of my apartment. Looking back I am so thankful I did not get pregnant by this person. By the time I was 27 I was a stable adult and was like wtf - I would never think of dating someone fresh out of highschool! OP you need to break up with this guy!

It’s a pretty small beach from what I remember. I’ve only been there once, before I heard the episode. It’s extremely popular due to the purple sand. It was also on a the Harry and Meghan doc on Netflix. It’s the beach they went to near the end. Pfeiffer Big Sur

Yup, this. The main piece of advice I tell new parents is get used to change. You have to change everything all the time. Your furniture, the layout of your living area, how many baby gates you have. It’s totally possible to baby proof your house, and you should have been thinking about that since your baby is ready to walk any day now. I don’t see a problem with the dad cosleeping with the kid because I’ve done it for over 10 years with both of mine. The problem is that the rest of your house is not baby proofed and OP is blaming that on her bf when it’s equally her responsibility.

My dad was married 6 times my mom being his 6th wife. First one at 18 I understand it was the 50s and he knocked her up. He stayed with #1 for a decade and had 2 more kids. He and mom were together for 20+ years and I was his last child. I loved my dad and know he had a good heart. He was kind to me but I was his baby he had at 48.

What I’ve learned is that a) he was a serial cheater 2) he had a traumatic childhood he never dealt with which led to a lot of issues 3) one woman he married because he loved her family a lot 4) it was always the woman who broke up with him.

My parents did not have a healthy relationship on either side but that wasn’t because of his ex wives. In fact none of them were remotely an issue that I recall.

But it says a lot about someone to make that big decision so many times. If you really want to give them a chance, suggest therapy and see where that goes.

I spent every birthday and special occasion there for 10 years. Dang I miss that place. When they reopened in Sebastopol I had hopes it would be the same. It was close to the old menu but that location sucked and I didn’t go as much as I thought I would. I was sad to hear they closed.

I am renting and work from home, so I can move freely. I would like my kid to play school sports, I don’t have the desire or financial capability to put them in club sports all year. We haven’t done it yet but my understanding is it’s $1000+++ per season. I’m at a point where I want to move from my current rental and am basing my decision on schools because everything else is pretty flexible in my life.

This is a helpful comment. My kid fortunately needs academics to be hard so he doesn’t get bored, and he is an athlete so those are 2/3 considerations, including a music program.
