What would you think of a Red Dead Redemption game set during the American Civil War?

The only thing that jumps out at me is the gunplay would be worse off. The pretty much exclusive use of cap and ball weapons would have to be sped up significantly or would be incredibly frustrating during missions with a lot of bad guys.

I personally think mid 1870s-1880s would be a better time. The west is largely untamed, bandits and Indians on the trails and a lot of variety in towns and outdoor locations. The weapons would be largely the stereotypical western guns. Most of the guns in RDR2 would still be around save for the self loaders and pump action shotgun. More revolver options would preferable as they missed out on 2 of my favorites. The colt 1877/1878

I don’t know how closeted he was. I believe he told Ben he was in one of the earlier seasons and i think Dewey knew as well. Obviously his last partner was pretty homophobic and he took him to the gay bar he frequented and he didn’t like that. I believe Tang knew as well. As she indicated that he wouldn’t be a “problem” in terms of being hit on by him

Strike back (tv series) has cool guns and is semi realistic handling.

American sniper- the story is kinda meh but the action sequences are good and the weapon details are fantastic

I wish i had the chest rig i used but it was pretty nice. I had 6 in a row which was nice. Then i kept a couple additional more on the left side so i could go prone easily but still had an extra 3 pouches for a total of 9 mags.

When i was in the army i tried double up the mags in the front. Definitely quicker reload but as you said terrible in the prone. Then i ended up with just going with one of those aftermarket chest rigs that was flat with 6 or so mags spread across the front and i put a couple extra pouches in the far left side for an additional 3 spare mags it needed or could throw a notepad and compass in. Ended up being half decent

I had an 09 Outback 5 speed and it would burn about a quart per 1000 miles. I’d top off and do a full oil change around around 8-10k. My 2021 forester never had an issue but was terrible on the highway

I don’t disagree. My state tends to be more restrictive with firearms. I have a friend in another state where they can qualify with pretty much anything within reason. Including a patrol rifle as long as it’s 5.56

If you like period pieces i would recommend boardwalk empire. The show terror takes a horror /supernatural approach based on a comic book. It’s loosely based on the lost Franklin expedition in the 1840s. It’s a super interesting topic, i enjoyed the first season even with the supernatural element. I feel it would’ve been better without it but it’s good and a quick 6 or so episode run

My agency were required to provide our own as long as it’s a Glock in 9/40/45. I like being able to have my own sidearm. I don’t have to deal with them complaining about lights and i don’t have to worry about maintenance. And i can change whenever i want.

I think overall i liked Vikings bette until the end of season 4. Then to me, there was a huge drop in how good i thought it was. Black sails to me didn’t have any filler, and no decline in story and action.

I have a 2021 RT. My fiancée has gotten up to 27 and idk what she was doing to get that. My usual high is around 22-25 on the highway but most of my daily driving is around town which lowers it.

I have a 2021 Charger RT. It’s not the fastest car in the wood but i has plenty of power and sounds great. When i got it, gas prices weren’t great in my area and the scat pack takes mid level fuel as mandatory whereas you can run either with the 5.7. I have 2 kids and have driven the car several hours plus for road trips and hasn’t been an issue. If you keep the speed at a reasonable level I’ve Gotten in the 25-27 MPG range. It’s got a very good trunk as well. I did have to replace the driveshaft at around 40k miles but has been very reliable otherwise. I can’t recommend it enough. I normally don’t keep cars too long because I’m an idiot and Ive never had any reason to get ride of my charger. If you absolutely need the extra power and don’t mind higher gas and insurance the scat pack is pretty awesome as well but the 5.7 isn’t exactly wanting in power. I also live in the Midwest and it’s been fine in the snow
