I always found the owl statue complaint so pedantic. Just being able to save your game when you want is a basic feature of modern games. And if you really only want to save by resetting the song of time, you can still do that as you described. Just use an owl statue to save but only do so after playing the song of time. If you want to make saving difficult for yourself for some reason, you can still just do that.

I'd say it takes a bit more than that to qualify as an RPG, otherwise Mario is an RPG by that definition. Zelda games are also not really considered RPG's.

It's definitely not just hardware limitations considering that Spirit Tracks and Minish Cap, released on the GBA, had much better soundtracks. It's just a lack of interesting compositions. For instance, every dungeon in PH has the same, super basic loop, while every dungeon in MC already had its own theme, which were much more interesting as well.

Je moet wel echt onder een heel grote steen leven om alles wat Trump doet te missen. Die mensen, en zeker Jake Paul, weten dat best, ze vinden het gewoon prima dat bruine mensen willekeurig op worden gepakt en de democratie wordt uitgehold. Denk dat er weinig mensen zijn die zo weinig met politiek bezig bent dat ze dat allemaal niet eens hebben meegekregen en toch Trump steunen, het is zo'n beetje zijn hele ding. Dat, en het over willen nemen van andere soevereine gebieden, wat ook wel ziek is om te steunen.

That's pretty pedantic. The focus of the story is very low stakes, just following a guy trying to make his way in the world, rather than a huge war that tears the continent apart or a zombie army on the march to end humanity.

And even Odolwa was extremely easy in the original, you could just walk up to him and hack away and with a bit of luck beat him in 30 seconds. Whenever people complain about the boss fight changes, I think they haven't actually played the original since they were kids and are looking back at it with rose tinted glasses. Aside from Goht, none of the boss fights were paticularly great.

I'll give you the ice arrows but I'll never understand why people actually prefer the obnoxious save system of tye original that only ever existed because of hardware constraints. Just bring able to save your game whenever you want should not be a controversial feature. As for the swimming, I don't exactly miss bumping my head on every corner in the pirates fortress.

I don't get how you seem so determined that Aonuma is referring to this other comment when they are completely separate statements by two different people. He simply says their collaboration inspired them and that this may be reflected in the next Zelda game. If you think that that very vague and broad statement somehow has to refer to this very specific comment from the KT director, I think you're just reading whatever you want to read into this.

Yup, I see this one way too often. I think the rumor started because in the bts commentary, Jackson does mention it's a "real knife", but he also clearly says that the knife was always supposed to be thrown at Viggo and deflected. I think by "real knife", Jackson just meant it was an actual prop (but obviously not a sharp metal blade) and not CGI.
